      So every flagship phone has at least a wide angle as second lens...except Pixel 4. How very, very Google. Their mobile hardware division never fails to disappoint.

        sm4rt4ss, 18 Sep 2019No, different main sensor than X1. Okay..gsmarena team should update their review accordingly

              Night photos look better than xz2.
              But I prefer daylight shots of xz2.
              Those 7MP are doing huge difference here.

              They should explain that brighter f1.6 is useless when you decrease sensor size. It is equivalent of 1/2.3" f1.7 and worse than 1/1.7" f2.0

                      Xperia 5 = FHD 86.9 cm2
                      S10e = FHD 82.8 cm2
                      86.9/82.8 = 5 % more

                      Xperia 5 = 3140mAh
                      S10e = 3100mAh
                      3140/3100 = 1,3% more

                      Xperia 5 = almost 8h more talking, 39 min more web browsing, 72 min more video playback

                      With 3700 mAh this phone would score more than 110h ..

                            Impressive battery performance. Some people cry about battery capacity..
                            It has 6" OLED display & fhd display too. Still it has amazing battery life. Oppo, vivo & Xiaomi gives more than 4000mah battery capacity still their battery performance is not impressive.
                            Good going Sony. Launch some powerful mid-range phones. And hope you never launch notch phones.

                              Anonymous, 18 Sep 2019All phones with 12MP do it. Including Pixel. Sony is the worst offender. Look at those haloes in the castle shot.

                                You mean they provide 3.5mm headphones with phones??
                                To me every Phone manufacturer's answer for dropping off the headphone jack was illogical & just to show that it is useless. They either just follow some company's footprints.

                                  Mobile division has to obbey.

                                  They told people on twitter last year that wireless outsell wired, that is the reason.
                                  And they sell more flagship than midranges.

                                        Love the Community, 18 Sep 2019Isn't oversharpen = closer to reality? That's what Samsu... moreSo are Samsung photos plasticky or oversharpened? They work in opposite ways, don't you know? Samsung's so-called aggressive noise reduction removes the "details" that you Sony fans think Xperia phones provide. But doesn't Samsung's so-called oversharpening make noise more obvious? And you guys claim Samsung's photos are too smooth and noiseless?

                                        Don't know about Huawei but Samsung is definitely not sharpening. I don't see any oversharpening haloes in most of their models based on the reviews here but Sony's phones consistently produce such haloes.
