I was worried about the size but the few millimetres isn't noticeable, the screen is amazing and it's got one handed mode if you need it, this chipset is brilliant, the radio is good and memory card support is essential nowadays, top class phone for the money

                dbjungle, 12 Oct 2019I bought my Mi 9 Lite for $248 USDDo you have problem with no notification on ambient mode panel? Missing calls etc

                  Sadeq, 14 Oct 2019how about mi 9 se, it's cheaper and absolutely better than ... moreMi 9 SE
                  lacks headphone jack,
                  has a smaller battery,
                  no radio
                  and no memory card support.
                  The good is that
                  it is more compact in size,
                  the chipset is slightly better
                  and the price is cheaper.

                        So Mimoji is only available on the Chinese ROM?

                        I thought it will be included on all Xiaomi models as soon as possible. Why would they scrap the iteration of it though? Hmm..

                            Sadeq, 14 Oct 2019how about mi 9 se, it's cheaper and absolutely better than ... moreReally?! How so?

                              > "It costs as much as Mi 9T and is the 'one too many' in the lineup"
                              - I see that you edited that part, but it's still wrong: Mi 9 Lite costs ~$280 and Mi 9T costs ~$325. And "is the 'one too many' in the lineup" still isn't a problem.

                              And still there is no mention of NFC and Google Pay support except "Pros" section.

                              And "Poor grip without a case on" is still not a con.

                              And conclusion and score are still unfair.

                                      Mi n - a "standard" phone with currently "top" SoC/camera and relatively low price for the specs;

                                      Mi n Pro - kinda special version of the last one;

                                      Mi Mix n - "Mi n" plus some showing off and at higher price;

                                      Redmi n - a low-budget phone;

                                      Redmi nA - an even lower-budget phone;

                                      Redmi Note n - big screen and battery, plus decent SoC and camera for midrange price;

                                      Redmi Note n Pro - kinda special version of the last one;

                                      Mi Max n - aluminum body, giant screen and battery, specs from the latest Redmi Note;

                                      Mi nX - small battery, slim aluminum body, big screen, decent camera;

                                      Redmi Sn (Yn) - big screen, decent selfie camera;

                                      Mi n SE - relatively compact upper-midranger;

                                      Mi n Lite - "pretty" back panel, aluminum frame, midrange SoC, microSD, decent selfie camera;
