DaleCooper, 16 Nov 2019I was a huge Nokia fan when it came back even bought Nokia ... moreso am I

Although the 6.2 appears to be a poor effort (why not just release the 7.2?) it is currently the cheapest of all mentioned competitors. Available for £145 in the UK. Realme 5 Pro is at least £189 and Samsung A30 at least £175.
If pricing in emerging markets is the same, this could make the difference.

I was a huge Nokia fan when it came back even bought Nokia 6, Nokia 3, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus but now it disappointed me so bad. I don't want to buy a Nokia again.

china phone already dominate smartphone especially midrange and low entry. we saw european brand, japanese brand and taiwanese brand fall one one one because higher up doesn't know how to play the price war that china phone did.

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2019Lol.. The Nokia 9 Pureview not bold enough? You must be too... moreConsidering what they have done in the past the Nokia 9 is a failure, it comes with older chipset and the camera requires more time and effort to get the most out of it and in the meantime cellphones from other brands provide far more useful cameras such as ultra wide and zoom lens.

You should stop remembering the glory days of Nokia where at that time they still offered very good phones at all price point because now most of their phones are overpriced.

If you think Nokia's performance is great, you should look at Realme because they are able to succeed without having to put the famous brand names on their phones.

You must be too young in 2000s to remember that Nokia littered the phone market with countless regular models.. Which is what HMD is continuing today.. You must also forgot that Nokia phones are the priciest phone spec for spec back in the days.. Right now their meteoric rise to top 10 phone manufacturer overtaking sony and htc in just 2 years is nothing short of phenomenal..

                    Best Nokia smartphone ever???

HMD is too conservative and holding back on design, specs and features. Sad to see how bold Nokia was back in mid 2000's and compared with today Nokia's HMD.

HTC have almost stopped making phones.

Now how can we get overpriced and under-specced phones with terrible battery life..??

                        HMD has entered the chat

It just requires more efforts and complexity when fitting eveything together. Usually this raises prices, not for Xiaomi obviously. And, yes, I know the prices as I am the reviewer after all :)

And did you know that surprisingly the price of the Redmi Note is only € 223 for the 64GB version while the Nokia 6.2 is priced at € 240.

Wow,can't remember I've ever seen a score this low at GSMA...at that price they'll be selling dozens of them...same thing with 7.2,not exactly happy days for Nokia..

It looks like Nokia should also join the list of not making any smartphones along with HTC, Sony, Panasonic.
Pathetic choice of soc @ 2019, terrible camera and unearthly price, buhh..

LCD panels can't offer such bezels. It is also a €400+ smartphone, while the 6.2 is almost half that price.
