Being vsrsitile doesn&... morebuddy none of these have the best camera. if you want great camera , you're really Passionate about it , buy sony alpha . these are just half hearted gizmos with cheap algorithm tricks . people will see through it after 8-10 years . like how 2005 cgi looks now .

      S22U best cameraphone.... Hahaha!!! Being vsrsitile doesn't mean best. On that logic the Huawei P40 pro+ is with a telephoto, periscope tele, ToF, ultrawide and main plus ToF depth with af selfie (most cams take better pics than the S22U too). Also linustechtips uses the fold 3 and said the 4 is worse in so many ways and wouldn't upgrade (he can for free) yet you've given it best smartphone, how? It's not even the best foldable nevermind phone. GSM the Samsung super fans!

          I agree with most of the choices on this list but not all of them. The mid range stuff is where I have some disagreements but there are also way too many mid range phones these days so it's hard to just pick one. Maybe GSMArena should start doing a "top 3" for certain categories.

            The smartphone market has gone downhill

            Apple is a very bad influence on the smartphone market and every android brand is copying them

            Not only have smartphones gotten more expensive
            They taking everything away from us what's not nailed down

            Smartphone made today most of them don't even have a good screen anymore because the notch or hole punch gets in the way of what you're watching or doing

            Lack of sd card slot
            No headphones
            None removable battery

            They also taken away everything from the phone box as well

            No headphones
            No charger brick
            No charger lead

            We are in very bad times now for buying smartphones right now in late 2022 the future looks grim

                  Some categories are worth but some are missing good phones. In reality of offline market Oppo and Vivo phones are best selling Likewise online market Redmine phones are unbetable. User hits on this site are not always belivable considering real markets and user thoughts matters more.

                          I suggest you remove the 'Best in Us market' and replace it with something else, like
                          >Best chipset (some of us just want to get the phone with high performance)
                          >Phone with the smoothest UI (some just want to have a smooth experience with less bugs)
                          >Most popular in the world, (as many people just want to get what everyone else has)
                          Rather than the best in Us market stuff as this site isn't meant for only people who live in the US

                            This list is kinda silly by phone gsmarena

                            The kinda people who want more battery life they want really good battery life like a basic phone has but on a smartphone ideally

                            They normally heavy users who use there smartphone none stop all day or people who want there too last like 5 days are not very active and mostly just do the basics

                            Normally people who want long battery life also want durability smartphone that doesn't break too easily

                            A lot of old people won't switch from basic phone because smartphone battery life too poor and smartphone too fragile

                            Or kids who plays on there smartphone all day long none stop might want very long battery life

                            Then there is heavy users who use there smartphone for everything and for none time none stop and so they need long battery life

                            The best big battery are
                            Made by Ulefone blackview and Energizer

                            Just look for 7000 mah battery or bigger
                            This will make battery life problem go away for you
                            On top of that use power saving mode all of the time too forever extend battery life by a lot

                            Plus use screen protector and case for protection from scratchs on the screen or drops

                            Use glass screen protector underneath and put plastic screen protector on top for 2 layer protection and replace damaged screen protector after it gets all scratch up as u go

                            I hope my advice and suggestions are helpful

                              I suggest that the US market best phones should be removed. If you must add it then, you will have to start adding all country's best to it.
                              You should replace it with the best in social media & browsing because there are people who enjoy being on social media.
                              People needs advice on the best phones to buy phones according to the category they belong to and they don't want to know the best in the US market.
                              Try to update it please.

User experience and several important factors like call quality, ease of use, durability (a very important factor in this age of sustainability) are not given due weight imo. If they were, most of these Chinese recommendations would be languishing somewhere at the very bottom.

                                      99% chinese "brands". There are also other needs besides cheap "devices" with paper-specs hardware. And they should also be highlighted:
                                      Sustainability; OS clean or not; known Bug's; Build quality: is it good; ok, bad;
                                      With wich server does the phone connect to, behind user awareness and why;
                                      phone call quality, coverage quality and stability; Battery is big, but does it hold;
                                      advantages and disatvantages of buying any device you recomand, example would be: does the customer want to pay cheap for "better" hardware and see ads at daily basis, or does the customer prefere to pay a bit more and get rid of them ads? Excluding chinese brands, as by them, ads are a marriage proposal.
                                      What device is really the best based on all this criterias, who's second best, which one comes on third.
                                      the way it is now, your recomandations are purely based on paper-specs vs price and have nothing to do with user experience whatsoever. Not everybody reading here knows how to adb shell in android or how to work arround bug's.
                                      I actually feel sorry for the people that buy this recomandations without actually knowing the more important 90% part of the device.
