Prob with our unit, it keeps on disconnecting with our wifi. All the other gadgets are doing fine, while A51 was left disconnected.

    I normally do not post about things of this nature, but today I can't stand it anymore. The A51 I have is the WORST phone I have ever owned hands down. I'm having to hold it in a weird way just to type on the screen right now because the screen is so wide it thinks my fingers are trying to select items and side menus. If I pick the phone up while watching a movie the whole thing goes crazy thinking I'm tring to touch a bunch of things on the screen. I need a spatula to pick this stupid thing up!!! It's the worst phone ever!!!

All expenses are paid, so why not? But the phone is a mess. Sometimes I need to charge it 2x a day. It is not a work phone, and just like you said, it consumes battery, more than Homer eats donuts... dont buy it, if you need to use on a regular base. Better spent more in something good. Stay away from this junk.

        Well I just got the A51 after having an S8 for 3 years. I have only had it for 2 days. I absolutely absolutely HATE it. I wish I kept my S8. The battery % goes down very fast. Unbelievable. Never happened that fast with my S8 even at the end of the 3rd year. And that's without playing games or anything else. Battery runs down without doing anything, just sitting there. This would be a good first time phone. I have to get the courage to get rid of this phone.

            should i buy this with 8GB/256GB/ 4000 mAh bat /lighter than A41 5G with lower 8GB/128GB, 5000 mAh bat/heavier ?

              jaamieee, 19 Feb 2021Never happened to me?Your probably using a Snapdragon chip US version and the Exynos EU version. You probably heard this before or aren't, there are 2 chips that Samsung is using 1. Snapdragon and 2. Exynos. Snapdragon is the best chip available for the US only while the EU and SA only gets Samsung's own chip: Exynos. As far as I've seen Snapdragon performs better than Exynos since Exynos produces heat and often reaches 40°c- 60°c 104°f - 140°f. It's heartbroken to see that EU and SA users only get the Exynos chip while the U.S gets the Snapdragon.

                I bought this phone, Using Verizon network, I'm a picky guy when it comes to phones and I've had a lot, The Samsung A51 is r he same as the Samsung S8, Specs are the same the only difference is screen resolution and the ppi, I like it, Takes nice pictures, I have 4gb ram and 128gb of internal storage, As far as speed its OK, So far i haven't had any issues with any functions but again I've only had it for a couple weeks, I should have bought the Samsung A71, Same price as the A51 but has 5G Ultra wide band, 6tb ram and 128gb of storage, the screen is a little bigger and the processor a bit faster which makes it a better phone at the same price as the A51, I recommend the A71 If you can't find the S71 the second choice would be the A51.

                          Gidi, 09 Feb 2021Im about to go and buy a51 in Ghana i want to ask if the p... moreThe phone is a great one.I have been using it for over 2 months now.The design is up-to-date and it feels ok in the hands.Try and ensure that you don't overcharge it though because that damages your battery.Also, performance wise it's ok, but it may lag depending on which games you play especially with graphics intensive ones.When it comes on to the camera it takes great pictures from the back.The selfie camera is ok, given the appropriate lighting conditions, but if your lighting is poor trust me the results are pooooor.Video wise it's a hit or miss.1080p Is the best you'll get. 4k on this is mostly trash because it lags while filming but then fixes it with software.I believe the iPhone 8 or 10 would be a way better camera for videoing but you'll miss out on 128gb storage and also it's the money that talks and those are more expense. Personally, to get the most out of the camera I had to download a camera app (Manual Camera Lite) which enabled me to get more Pro level video. Anyways, that has been my experience so far.If you can though, put on some extra money and get the S20 FE or M51 or OnePlus Nord, those are all better ones for like $100 USD more.

                              My a51 battery is not holding charge for long, I have to keep charging it several times a day. And sometimes the phone is very slow.

                                    I have a Samsung A51 on a contract for 24months. I've had it for 7 months and constantly have to ring telstra because when I'm speaking to someone they can't hear me , they only hear half a word then nothing. I hear them clearly. I have plenty of signal strength. To fix this constant problem Telstra end up doing something in the exchange and then they get me to go to stettings on my mobile ,then select general management then reset network settings . It works for the next couple of calls for a day or so. Then it happens all over again, my callers can't hear me. Can anyone please advise me what to do? Its obviously a dud phone
