... and not a word about one of his big weakness : recording in 4k resolution ??

All of the records in 4k30 are laggy/jerky and hard to see. Mediocre for shooting videos, and no fix from Xiaomi. That's what i call a big issue.

"but the Mi Note 10 definitely feels like one of the most interesting concepts of 2019 in the mobile world, even if you're not likely to have thought of it that way."
This is one of reason why I prefer to read news from Gsmarena.

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2020Is it better than oneplus in software Lol ...🤣of course not bruhh....😌....go research at YouTube .....see how fast OnePlus software and stable that Oxygen OS in OnePlus....did your know Oneplus more focus at raw performance... That why oxygen os are fast.....OnePlus just pretty bad at camera only...🤓

As for bugs - im personally having difficulty with the onscreen fingerprint scanner. It usually takes me few tries to get it right.

And the accelerometer - this device was never accurate in measuring the number of steps - it is almost useless.

These 2 bugs, and because of the lag is making me look for alternative. Looking forward to what the mi10 pro or the s20 ultra may offer.

Yes there was a bitboflag compared to my Mate 20x 5G

I've had a couple of really bad experiences, a seller lied about features and a product was broken. In neither case Aliexpress did anything to help and the sellers did not respond. Amazon is reputable, Aliexpress is full of scams.

Got one. Stopped working(died) the 5th day. Tell me about returning with ali3xpress. Down 100 usd just for shipping both ways. Never refundable the transport charges. And wasted 3 weeks waiting the seller to actually send it in 1st place.

The current Android ecosystem is polluted with hundreds of different versions of Android, each running a different variant of the Linux kernel. Each version is designed for a different phone and it’s different configurations. Google has been working to fix the problem by adding the mainline Linux kernel to Android.

Small differences in hardware and forward is all about software this phone is powered by Linux early 4 version top phones have above Linux 5.5. I guess Xiaomi don't have a clue

I switched from a OnePlus 7 Pro and there is barely any performance difference. I don't play games though, only emulators. And I highly recommend disabling the animations.

The only issue for now is battery life and at the edges the sensitivity can be hit and miss. I do use a glass so that may interfere a bit.

Got it as a christmass present for my wife. Amazing photos. Good sturdy build. Great screen as well.
Stopped working the 5th day after opening the sealed box.
Now the seller stretches 2nd week the confirmed return and refund. Trying everything he can not to accept the return. 2 videos uploaded with total 100% clear proof this phone has died.
                                  Never again phone from aliexpress.

Glad I bought the P30 Pro instead and for just 429 euros to boot. I've had about 9 hours of screen on time over two full days with dual sims and 15-20% battery left. It seems to be doing even better with a single sim, had 9 hours SOT after two full days (48h) with 25% left.
