I highly doubt that this review was biased as some of you are suggesting. (and suggesting gsmarena was bribed is pure idiocy) gsmarena has made an effort not to give a particular preference of one phone over another due to the fact that there are always complaints made by upset fanboys.

Remember that during the 3 and 2 megapixel shootouts it was the sony ericsson mobiles which performed the best. Now it is the nokias which are being rated better.

Personally, I could not care less which phone company produces a mobile. As a normal, and non-retarded consumer, I will buy whichever mobile is the best, regardless of what brand name is associated with it. People who have nokias, sony ericsson's, motorola's, samsung's or whatever manufacterer should still be open to the other companys, as they give themselves a greater range of products to choose from, and a better chance of making smart purchases.

what is the deal with u guys?
1)sample images white elephant compare n95 and canon.
2)colour accuracy n95 grossly pumps up flower images and u give it 7/10 and dont even upload canons photo. very smart.
3)nokia phones have always over exposed images and u give them 9/10. sometimes images come burnt.
4)G600 flash for doll photo is brightest and for posters is better than K850 and u give it 2/10.
5)Mocro test. Again nokia grossly pumps up flower photo and it gets better marks than G600.
Why dont u just put a sign that says "WE ARE HEAVILY NOKIA BIASED".
            ITS A SHAME.

i dont know why they seem to downgrade samsung g600from the very first.and it seemed that they picked it as best in user friendly just because its no choice but to pick it. although the 5 megapixel battle in http://www.phonearena.com is saying otherwise.

I had n95 before and switched it to samsung g600. the high speed shutter of n95 makes it somewhat to lose the detail on the pics. i let some of the photos taken by the n95 to a real photopaper before. and compared it to the photos developed just recently which was taken by mu g600 phone. n95 has a noise-supression technique, its an added feature, but whats the effect? the noise are eliminated, right, but the detail too!

i hope that sometimes they should not have to be bias. im a big fan of gsmarena and hoping not to be dissapointed.

Excellent xenon flash light.. even in the dark and of course nokia.. User friendly.. Always... The only difference between N 95 and N 82 is the flash light N 82 got xenon flash and N 95 normal flash light..(and the xenon flash light makes a big difference in the images clicked in dark..as compared to n95) and the memory of 8gb(n95) and 2gb(n82)...

While everybody here is too busy comparing these phones after reading this comparison that is rarely done by any of the websites, atleast not this specific, I want to thank GSMarena so much for making it very easy for everybody to decide what they should buy, because these folks come to you the exact way you want, as though they were mind readers, they've been helping me (more like deciding for me) which cellphone I must purchase. I thought I'd tell you guys that what you're doing is much appreciated by (most of) us.

I'm pretty hesitant for my next phone whether it should be a Nokia N95 8GB or a Nokia N82, can someone, who's experienced both, tell me which is better and which offers a better package?

I would be very greatful to GSMARENA if u please include the anti-blur test in the future articles .
i think anti-blur is the most important thing in a true digital cam no matter whatever the megapixels be .

Not sure why you have mentioned Samsung along with Nokia & LG. As far my knowledge goes Samsung z710/P858 uses 3.15mp CCD and both are quite old.

yeh man japanese phone maker TOSHIBA uses WVGA screen but Symbian is not ready for this resolution and the other reason for not adding VGA or more resolution is that many application like N-gage will not work with that phone also higher the resolution more battery juice is required also it slow down the phone like G900 Suffered from even after using 520Mhz Intel processor and also Nokia might come with CCD or even better CMOS cam phone in future.

CCD sensor is bigger, and need lots of space to fit into a phone. It's also drain power A LOT more than CMOS. You probably need 1800mAh to power the N95 8GB if it was a CCD.

So it's either CCD sensor with so-so functions, or CMOS with tons of functions.

                                      @Nokia rulez

It's actually VERY easy to add WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm jack to a phone. It is way more difficult to add CCD sensor that "works" and take good pictures on a same compact phone. It takes tons of skills and also very expensive. That's why most if not all phone manufacturers only use CMOS sensor. Let's not go to screen resolution either because most Japanese phones are all using WVGA or QVGA now.

I think GSMArena has been partial with the Samsung G600, its tryin hard to downgrade it frm the beginning itself, biased shootout. G600 is a very good camphone, see the comparision at www.phonearena.com .
Secondly, the Canon digital camera used by GSMarena guyz is not the perfect camera. it has its share of flaws, so how can they ue it as a benchmark. They should have gone for the Canon IXUS 860IS.
N82 might be the best camphone around, I agree. but its not what a friendly phone should be like, its keypad sucks bigtime, n that might turn down ppl, and Music keys would've been highly apprecitaed in N82.
                                        Thumbs Down for GSMarena!!
