I think that that the perfect phone should be easy to use ,reliable, good looking, beautifully made, and to have a battery stamina at a least 6 or 7 days,20-30 minutes talking per day included.I personaly wouldn't buy a phone for its camera,if i whant to take pictures i'd buy a small performance, pocket sized , camera wich pictures would be ten times, maybe more, good than the pictures made by any phone on the market.it's the same thing with the mp3 players,if you whant quality music get a mp3 player!!If you make a quick calculation you'll see that with all the money you give for a nokia n95 you could buy a good decent phone, you can even buy the samsung g600 or a nokia 6300,a camera, and a mp3 player. That's how unnecessary these expensive phones are!!they are struggling to be all-in-one but the fact and the matter is that they just aren't.... it's an expensive compromise

n95, best camera phone there is at the moment. Its also the best all round phone you can buy. All this rubbish about the k850 takes better phones if you change the settings. Who wants to be messing around changing the settings?! the N95 is way ahead of the game (and the n82 of course). Also the n95 came out 2 years ago and theres still no contest

Sure people, whatever you say. In the meantime these phones rule the cameraphone industry, not surprisingly Motorola is always out of any camera shootout reviews recently. No need to fret Moto fans; Kodak's advanced CMOS sensor and powerful optics may have a slight chance of beating all the others. The Skarven will use 8mp and Pixl will use 5mp camera and all other Moto phones beyond this year will use Kodak's tech to incorporate on their built-in cameras. This is a fact, not a fiction.

oh! Does u r I-mobile 902 have WI-FI, HSDPA, Xenon flash, N-gage games, TV-out, VGA video recording@30fps, 2.8"/2.4" 16 million colour LCD, 3D hardware accelerator, 369 Mhz CPU, Symbian OS S60v3, document viewer, Full HTML web browser with flash lite 3.0, GPS, high quality music player, 3.5mm headphone jack, good customer care support, good quality stereo speakers, REAL player, support vast number of application etc mmmh... "let me think NO" but N95 8GB and N82 Does have this If i-Mobile uses Sony CCD so what Nokia uses TOSHIBA dynastron CMOS sensor which have proven there imaging power, great sharpness and amazing contrast and don't forget that CANON D-SLR uses CMOS technology instead of CCD.

I am of the opinion that this is indeed a balanced review. They just said what they saw - remember what they saw! It's up to the individuals to choose what they like. I AM A NOKIA FAN - but that will not allow me to say other phones are crap.

GSMarena did a comparison test before with G800 and K850.
                http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_g800-review-197p7.php
                ..and G800 performed way better.

First of all, and once again, this review NEVER stated the CLEAR WINNER. N95 8GB got the best score overall, but it doesn't mean it wins in EVERY aspects.

And for those who stated i-mobile 902, let me tell you. 902 will take very sharp pictures ONLY with ISO-50. Anything above that are all NOISE, NOISE and NOISE, even more than you'll ever imagined. Yes, day shots and macros are really, really nice, thanks to the CCD, no doubt, it beat the hell out of all others. But that's it, no more.

Night shots are too unbeatable with 902, but ONLY if you have robot hands, or something that you can rest your arm on when holding the camera, due to the crazy long exposure time (from 1/2 sec to 4 secs and above). Try to take a good night shots with bare hands, you'll tear all your hairs down. Take a tripod with you, good idea, but why you need that? Get a digital camera instead will ya, since you ARE carrying extra piece of equipment??

902 is just a professional wannabe, not even a good point and shoot camera, auto mode sucks. It take extremely good picture for a camera phone only due to good sensor and lens, too bad for what it is.

Again, did I state a clear winner here? ;-)

Okay, pretty much fair, but with custom settings I know K850 could preform better and in that second dark lighting picture with the two paintings you guys had to have screwed up with the k850, the second I saw how dark that was I turned the lights off and took a picture with mine and it came out bright as day on auto settings and its 11:30 at night here. I also think it would have been nice if you guys could have gotten your hands on the G800 for this, but I guess next time will do...

iMobile 902 sux! if we talk about best cameraphones then we must name samsung and all those hibrid phones that are more camera than phone.

N82 is the best camera phone because is the best one thats actually available and works worldwide.

Although I am quite aware this was just a CAMERA SHOOTOUT, you're all kidding yourself comparing the k850 to either Nokia (N95 8GB or N82). Does the k850 have wifi? GPS? even a NORMAL 3.5mm headphone connector? No...it does not. And a month ago I bought both the N82 and the k850 (the SE for my sister) and there is NO comparison. The k850 looks about 3 times better than the N82, but thats where it ends. The N82 is simply so much more full-featured. And to all the N95 users out there...you must not go out at night right? You're all still running around gsmarena screaming that your camera is so great, but LOOK AT THE PHOTOS IN THE DARK. The N82 is superior, plain and simple, and although the N95's shots also look brilliant during the day, you might as well put them away at night.

                            Cheers

those guys here makes me laugh lol!

N82? best camera today? what a joke, even forgoten to consider that there is an iMobile 902 which uses Sony CCD used in both Cybershot and Ixus cameras as well as the LG, GiGabyte, Casio Exilim Phone, Samsung B600(10mp CCD!) and SO905iCS(Exmor type CMOS used in sony alpha) which all kills N82 by a great margin. those "n82 is the best cam phone blah blah" is simply a fanboyish statement with no supporting facts.

if your n82 pictures are not looking too good.. se how you take the pictures..my self i discovered 2 ways :1.press and hold 2-3 sec the pic button..till the picture is taken or: 2.press twice.i observed that are impresionant differences.. mi opinion is that the first choice of holding 2-3-4 sec the pict button is the best..

Nokia N82 simply kills SE K850i in completely dark night shots. You can even take clear photos in extremely dark situations.

The review is full of "conclusions" like this: " The animated slideshows the Sony Ericsson K850 creates are also better than the ones by Nokia" but... the score is 8 SE and 8 Nokia; if there is something bad about the k850 (like in the video review), then, GSM Arena kills SE "awarding" 2 point compared to Nokia's 8, NOT TAKING IN CONSIDERATION that k850 is the ONLY phone that has a xenon flash for photos AND a 3-led thinghy for the video shots. They seem to have "forgotten" to score this feature.
Let me see GSM Arena trying to shoot a video in darkness with their precious Nokias!

totally biased with nokia, Why the N95 is the best in colour accuracy??? if it clearly oversaturated, really this shootout is totally biased!!!!
