I wait for Huawei P40

I'd say it's better than the S10 I have come from.

You recommend iPhone 1... moreIdk but look at GsmArena and all its competitors: iPhone 11 Pro, Huawei P30, OnePlus 7T, and even older Mi 9 all score higher than the S20. If OnePlus is sold in my country then I'll be happy to swap my Samsung with a 7 Pro/7T.

reddwarf2300282, 15 Mar 20201.07 optical zoom in flagship phone for 900 euro. Samsung m... moreYou could say that it doesn't have optical zoom at all. It has two standard cameras, and an ultra-wide. Cropping from a high-res camera may do the job, but it's not comparable to an actual telephoto camera.

If we were to consider cropping as "zoom", then phones like Realme 6 have 3x "hybrid optical" zoom as well, for a fraction of the price of S20.

It's just not something you expect Samsung to do.

Apart from very mediocre battery life for the battery size and limited refresh rate/resolution options, there's aren't anything else to complain about this phone. The display is great as always, the speakers are even better than already-great Note 10, performance is pretty good (though no GCam and it's unclear how well it holds up against SD865) and the cameras show some massive improvement over its predecessors. One UI 2.1 now feels a lot more refined too, unlike the 1.0 which I didn't find particularly pleasing to use.

It's funny how S20 Ultra's 70% larger main sensor is barely contributing to improving the image quality, as it only managed to score a win in 4x and higher zoom range over its smaller siblings solely thanks to its dedicated 4x telephoto lens. Shutter speed is slower on Ultra during the day as well, oddly enough. The regular S20 has a faster, more accurate focusing system, dedicated DRAM for the sensor, less noisy 8K recording in low light, higher quality "high resolution" mode and better zoom under 4x. Pretty ironic for having a "Ultra" name scheme, isn't it..

Overall, it looks like S20+ sitting in the middle is the phone to buy for most people who are looking for this year's Galaxy flagship - (most likely) better battery life than the regular S20 but more practical size and cameras than S20 Ultra, and it's cheaper. I can't wait for its review to come up!

Great size, awesome luxury phone... this is for adult use...not for little kiddies looking for a gaming tablet, those tablets sold as phones should be provided with an assortment of lollipops.

The battery life stats are really bad. A flagship needs to have at least 100h on Gsmarena to be considered decent.
Not sure why the S20 got 4/5 stars overall.

1.07 optical zoom in flagship phone for 900 euro. Samsung must be joking.

Iphone Lover, 15 Mar 2020Not actually. The ROG two is a beast in gaming but when we ... moreCompetitive gamers would rather use a phone with 240hz touch sampling rate, air triggers to improve their kills, and non throttling phone when continuous GAMING for long hours.
IPhone doesn't meet those requirements and does drop frames too. And stop using bad screen recording apps for recording your gaming footage,it won't lag.

Battery is down to zero in quick time with the iphone. ROG 2 can give you 7hr of PUBG play all the while charging the battery faster and having multiple WiFi antennas for the best network experience no matter where you are. No ecosystem of gaming accessories quickly reduces potential of iPhone as a competitive gaming device. This is why the other guy thought comparing iPhone to ROG 2 is unfair since the ROG 2 crushes it's competitors.

Horrendous battery endurance. And no successor to the S10e -- with the smaller footprint, flat screen and side FPS. Perhaps the e variant not sell well the last time?

Flgshp2020, 15 Mar 2020Yes the ROG 2 with SD855 smokes the iPhone 11 pro (forget X... moreNot actually. The ROG two is a beast in gaming but when we start talking competitive pubg, even iPhone 8 plus is better. Every android no matter how good always lag in competitive matches or custom rooms for competition when you record your gameplay at 720p and above(I know because im a competitve PUBGM player). Though I believe it is not totally Androids fault, pubg is optimized for apple devices. Apple devices never frame drop even in the most intense situations. I have a friend who uses the OP 7t for competitive pubg and he says it lags when he records at 1080P with sound in custom rooms.

FapPhone, 15 Mar 2020Comparing gaming phones against regular phones is nonsense.... moreWhat happened boy? Did your iPhone shat it's pants upon hearing Sd855+ competitors? Gaming phones or not, it has Sd855 and it costs less than iPhone.

You say Samsung failed to deliver because it throttles and charges 1000 plus dollars when in reality, iPhone delivers sub par experience compared to gaming phones which cost less. So they are technically a failure too.

No thank you I'll rather buy S20 with fast charging, higher refresh rate display, better OS.
IPhone is so last year besides not putting up with that ugly notch on the front.

I don't get why s20 is being compared with note 10 rather than S10. The lineup is not same as OnePlus 7...7T etc.
If you want to compare to an existing flagship then include both S10 and note 10 in the comparison
