Playing PUBG here is a mess!!! You pay $999 for a phone that feels like a $199 phone. But, gotta admit, the display and the camera is simply a beast.

Please review the Snapdragon version. Please, many regions had this version and it make a big difference. Or at least do the battery test.

And no way PUBG Mobile runs at HDR Extreme without several stutters here and there. Try to play several matches and see if there's a drop in performance.

You can also try Shadowgun Legends because this game is extremely demanding for mobile.

I can't even play PUBG Mobile at HDR Extreme (60fps) without any throttling, smoothly.

Lifeafter also stutters at even HDR 60fps (no antialiasing).

COD Mobile lags hard in BR and Zombie mode at Very High graphics, maximum framerate (capped to 60fps).

Black Desert Mobile also stutters at maximum possible graphics after 30-ish minutes.

Also undemanding games such as World of Tanks cannot maintain sustained 60fps in few cases (with anisotropic filtering at 2x and no antialiasing) and Armed Heist won't run too smoothly at high 60fps.

                Now who's talking rubbish?

I've regular had Fortnite played on it at max settings and it works and runs totally fine. So cut out the exacerbated hate.

Also try demanding games such as PUBG Mobile, Shadowgun Legends, and Fortnite and crank it to maximum settings (at 60fps only). Compare it with other handsets running at Sd855 and just an iPhone XR/XS.

Once you've tested the phone, tell me the results. I will wait.

                      Chipset discrimination is very unacceptable.

SD version can deliver better images and also has far less throttling (look at S10 Exynos vs. SD camera and gaming performance). Some has mentioned that Exynos 990's real world performance is still behind Apple A12. Not sure about SD855, but it feels to me it might as well.

Mandatory 5G in certain countries where even 5G infrastructure is not fully ready is...also unacceptable.

And all biometric authentication methods are rubbish. Lackluster fingerprint sensor (even my S10, updated, still has issues with this) and useless facial recognition. At least iPhone got the facial recognition right although there's no fingerprint sensor.

It's really a shame that the display is very high-quality and the camera hardware is good. Build quality is also nice considering its weight (compared to bulky iPhones).

Because SD version turns out to be market-restricted, I will still suggest the iPhone 11 Pro. Or if you don't care about brands, there's the upcoming global version Mi 10 and Oppo Find X2.

Sorry, Samsung. Failed again. Rating only 4.1 stars for a premium flagship???

Also your complaints have squat all to do with the processor. Your much hyped mi 10 or whatever will be running Android too. So I don't why your bringing that into it and also randomly mentioning the iPhone

I have an Exynos S10 and I can safely say that the low-light images are rubbish even until now (I suspect due to poor image processing). Performance is also somewhat limiting, and pair it with bloated OS and it just gets worse.

My iPhone is much better compared to this Crappynos trash. Might take a look at upcoming Mi 10 series on late March.

Can you guys test the phone with Snapdragon. This battery rating is really not applicable for many regions. We know EU have to buy Exynos, but this may give a false impression for people who owned Snapdragon.

I'm disappointed with the "telephoto" camera. With its 1.07 real optical magnification I'd rather call its camera system "64 MP wide main, 12 MP night photo/video and 12 MP ultrawide". I was really certain that the optical zoom is x2, while the rest is cropping + AI. And we have 1.07 gimmick instead.

That's why early reviews show quite disappointing results. S10 had an entire year of software polish, S20 will get better, especially in low light. You can't get much better in good light anyway...

The issue with exynos is the standby time.
Local website here did the test and phone loses about 2-3% per hour.
This should be what phone loses during whole night (00:00-07:00h).
