Would all the reviewers get over the notch or hole in the display.. Reviewers can also eliminate the unboxing part of the video reviews. Just show what comes in the box for the second and call it a day. Thank you reviewers for not perseverating these days on the weight of phones lately. Reviewers held back battery life for years with that one.

    Bitrates are too low.
50Mbps should be the 4k30, not the 60.

Its screen is way better tunned than s20 series.
      By far.

Kuk1997, 18 Mar 2020No wireless charging as a second con.Wireless charging is pointless, it's inefficient and is barely more convenient than inserting a USB-C cable into the USB-C port on a phone. Are you telling me you're too lazy to pick up a cable and plug it into your phone?

They are very close, sometimes one fails spectaculary, next time the other does. When these two fail, they do so badly. So it's more like 1st. place P30 Pro, shared 3rd. place Find X2 Pro/S20 Ultra.

Dometalican, 18 Mar 2020Don't forget the lack of expandable memory, headphone jack,... moreIt's 88hr endurance for 120hz@1440p.
            Let that sink in.

Endurance for 1080p@60hz will easily be above 100hr and this should be enough for the 60hz Brigade. Most phones with 100+ hrs of endurance are operating at 60hz(1080p).
Plus, you get 57% charge in under 20 min.
People are easily getting 7-8hr screen on time with medium-heavy usage.

One company can't simply copy other's design language when they are developing their respective flagships simultaneously.

The photo comparisons were interesting, if you take the whole package into account and judge them on photo quality I'd say:

                    1. P30 Pro
                    2. Find X2 Pro
                    3. S20 Ultra

If you consider other things like the prices, release dates, sensor sizes and resolutions the P30 Pro leaves the other two in the dust. What we know today, for a fact, is that the P30 Pro was a year ahead of the competition, maybe even 1.5 years.

Oppo is blooming in 2020, and this phone is the proof. A top notch display that is comparable to what can be found on Galaxy, great battery life in both 60Hz and 120Hz mode, very balanced sounding speakers, a lot cleaner and more refined UI (Let's be honest here, the new Color OS looks nothing like iOS as it used to), powerful camera setup, and finally long-awaited non-glass back panel option! The pricing is a bit too steep IMO, but I think it will go down quickly considering this is an Oppo phone. Give it a price cut of $300 and this can turn into a true flagship killer. Amazing job!

Best looking Android flagship of the year.
P40 pro disappointed with design by copying the galaxy s20 series.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro looks good but with the Find X2 pro, there's just something about that orange vegan leather back with golden accents that screams premium.

This will launch at the same price as S20+(Exynos) 128gb variant in my country, Easy choice for me. I doubt any phone comes close this year.

"It never even gets warm, let alone hot, even after repeated benchmark runs. Whatever throttling does happen, is minimal - no more than 3-5% lower Antutu results."

Huge edge over S20 ultra in this department.

Hey, whats about headphones audio quality?

As expected, this is better than the Galaxy S20 series (Exynos).
GSMarena, what is the endurance rating for 120hz@1080p? And 60hz @1080p?

Most people gonna use it @1080p with 120hz mode. Only switching to QHD@60HZ during movies or YouTube.

The price is insane. It times of global recession and health scare I can't see successful sales of this phone. All i can do it to wish good luck to Oppo. They will really need it.

Dometalican, 18 Mar 2020Don't forget the lack of expandable memory, headphone jack,... moreCan't agree about the subpar battery life here. It's not that bad. It's... okay.
It seems this will be the trend this year.
Last year we saw an increase in the average battery capacity and battery life, but it seems we are going to see a dip in the latter this year.
My best guess would be that the external 5G modem is to blame, but I can't be sure.

This phone is not worth the price tag it's given; just like the Galaxies.
