A lot of features got ignored in this review , it feels incomplete and cons are weird
You can 4k60fps in cinema pro app
Displlay is bright enough , it is oled which suffers from burn in issue
It is excellent smartphone only if it was cheaper but hey they offer awesome headphones along with it

"You can set the custom white balance by either pointing at a gray card and pressing the set button, or adjusting it manually along the Green-Magenta and Amber-Blue axes in the white balance grid. *
So there's no Kelvin color temperature slider? Green-Magenta Amber-Blue settings are nice and important, but a Kelvin slider is even more important.
By the way, white balance settings must be always available in auto mode. Many phones only offer white balance settings in a low quality manual mode.

Heat Supression can be used for many other apps.
Not just like game enhancer.
You can use phone for hours without leaving 100%.

Great. After all the delay, Sony still doesn't have the final firmware. The first thing I do for any GSMa review is jump to battery endurance.

Unlike other mainstream smartphones (galaxies and iPhones)
Xperia 1ii is aimed at a more a narrow niche market with its compromises. For me an average consumer
I can live with 4k 60 opposed to hrr,600nits of brightness and 18watt charger too. The 3.5 mm jack which is a must for me
Xperia 1 ii takes comparable pics like 2020 flagships.but small things do matter like portrait mode they should be on par with others if not better but that's not the case and same goes for selfies not the ones you'd expect from 1200$ flagship. Heck i don't take much selfies or do portraits but @1200$ it's more of a bragging rights. That 1200$ seems too much for what it's worth for an average user. On the other hand it a great second smartphone for the niche market users who already had iPhones as daily drivers

There is a toggle switch on the Sony Xperia 1 II that enables Motion Blur (higher frame rate), it is not a gimmick. It's technology that works.

Basically any Sony phone comment section: "Sony phones are dead, no future, typical devices, expensive, no innovations" yet you people spam 10 times more than to the rest.
This phone is nice, the only drawback is that some of us need to be patient to wait for a smaller version. Does Sony have "Sony account" like Samsung or Xiamiau built into android?
