Anonymous, 13 Jun 2020This "cheap" thing lacks so many things. But you still call... more1. It is still cheap, considering the specs it can offer, but no longer as cheap, but cannot compare as it is not same specs as the old Poco F1 and Mi9T Pro.
2. The rules still apply, you can't get everything at this price point.
3. It got 30W charging, SD865 SoC, 180hz touch scanning, 5G, 4700mah battery, Quad camera, compared to Mi 9T Pro. If these are not upgrades, I don't know what you expect.
4. By comparing 128GB version of both Poco F1 and Mi9T Pro, it is not twice more expensive.
5. I know what you want, 65W charging, wireless charging, Micro SD slot, water resistant, OIS camera, 90hz or 120hz screen, maybe 2K screen, maybe 108MP camera, maybe better camera optic for low light capture. All these features on other brand are costing more. Be ready to pay more for more features rather than yelling at this Poco F2 Pro for lacking this and that, that's it. (If you can't pay more, than just stick to your old phone, which is nothing wrong with that)

AnoM, 12 Jun 2020So many good and bad comments.
Do remember this is a budge... moreThis "cheap" thing lacks so many things. But you still call it a budget phone though it's price is twice as of F1. So, it should have twice specs. But the only good thing about this is the 5G connectivity. Nothing else is special. Even,
last year's K20 Pro had better specs. No telephoto lens, no gorgeous design and no premium feeling can be found on this irritating phone. Now, don't tell me it lacks all these features as it's cheap. Because, K20 Pro was even cheaper than this.

So many good and bad comments.
Do remember this is a budget flagship smartphone, so please expect all the cost cutting measure. You won't get OIS, you won't get 90hz/120hz screen, you won't get water resistant, you won't get wireless charging, won't even get 2K screen and no Micro SD slot. No super fast 50W and 65W charging.
There are plenty more expensive alternative smartphone out there, if you can shell out more money, go get these smartphone.
Every smartphone has pros and cons, especially with a budget one, that has much less features than full flagship.
You can keep saying why this Poco F2 Pro lack this and that.
The reason is simple, because it is cheap.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2020High costDepends on which phone you compare it to. Comparing with other sd 865 phones, I'm sure it's one of the LOWEST if not outright the lowest. The Poco F2 Pro is not the successor of the midrange priced Poco F1. It's the successor of the higher end K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro.

oneplus loled, 11 Jun 2020poco is a subrand, it is not a phone made under redmi brand... moreCheck your facts straight or you don't know what exactly is a rebrand don't you? Pocophone F1 or Poco F1 is the only Poco-phone that is not a rebrand of any sort and that's before Poco became an "independent" sub-brand. Now that Poco became an official sub-brand here's comes their re-branded phones:
1. Poco X2 is a rebranded Redmi K30
2. Poco F2 Pro is a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro
You can make use of GSMArena's compare tool if you want more proof then try to actually read some of these articles.

Samath N8 808 owner, 05 Jun 2020OIS is not generally connected to image quality. Also, eve... moreAgreed. I use the Oppo Reno 10x which has OIS and I get lots of blurry pics due to slow shutter speed. There a couple of recent releases (Honor x10 and Vivo x50 series) which use ai to detect motion and increase the shutter speed which has more effect on reducing blur for moving subjects. Tried it on the Honor x10 and it works brilliantly giving a shutter speed of 1/800s versus an equivalent of 1/100s for the same pic on the Reno 10x zoom. Hope they add this tech to more phones

IpsDisplay, 08 Jun 2020Ok so it's a matter of working distanceYes ! When you use the UWA lens for macro very often the phone is so close that it casts a shadow over the subject. This helps reduce that problem.
