Yes, they are using Cyrillic, but Russia is not the only country that uses the alphabet. The team's office is located in Sofia, Bulgaria, therefore the team and the website is Bulgarian, not Russian ;)

AnonD-754814, 16 Jun 2020Why's they target India ? It's not an Indian website.GSMArena is technically a Russian website but made Worldwide and in English. In one of the pictures for the phone tests, there's a building that has cyrillic letters and that's a sign that they're based somewhere in Eastern Europe.

wasn't 5G firstly meant for lowered latency and secondly increased speed/bandwidth ?

naap51d, 17 Jun 2020Why do you "need" such speed? 30-50 meg on a phone, on a g... moretrue, we should just stick to 12th century tech. who the f* needs progression

Why do you "need" such speed? 30-50 meg on a phone, on a good 4G signal is enough.
What the heck are people doing with such bandwith? Watching 8K videos? On a 5-6" screen? Give me a break. It's just another ploy to get people to buy a new phone...AGAIN.

You buy a high performance car and then find out that your country has 3rd world roads.
So you blame the car maker.
                  :-)

So should you pull the trigger?

The answer is no. 5G is not a big thing yet, if you're buying a new smartphone now, 4G is more than enough for videos, games, calls etc buy a 4G only smartphone, unless you have the money to buy a flagship of course...

In 3 years 5G will be more widely spread, 5G smartphones will have cheaper options etc, then buy. For now it's a no go.

I use WiFi so for me it isn't very important. But if I buy a flagship phone it won't be cheap. Is it right? Of course it is. And pay extra without getting 5G isn't a good thing. But if its a mid range then 4G is enough.

In China, you can watch full 1080P video without any interruption while driving in your car. Also, the new airport and most high speed train station fully support 5G with download speed of average 900 to 1000 MB per second.
