What is sony smoking again? It really works.. This phone and 350 ? This is like the same price as chinese K20 pro. I know i know itS chinese, but that phone is at least 2 times better in every department, and have 10 times better performance with snapdragon 855. 21:9, cmon.. it looks ridiculously like a smart remote. And those huge bezels wonT do justice to anyoneS movie sessions.

Nope, you too focus on chipset. It's has very rare 21:9 and OLED for cinematic experience. Xperia 10 II is the only one on mid segment. The only one.
It's has waterproof resistant, it's expensive feature too. Compact size and light weight.
This phone is perfect for who want light,compact, water proof and rare display.

Sd6xx series was mid range in 2016.
In 2020, it's low end.
Sd820 was flagship back in the day.
Today it won't be counted as flagship.
I Clearly mentioned, in 2020,
Entry Level : Snapdragon 2xx & 4xx.
Low End : Snapdragon 665
Mid Range : Snapdragon 765
High End : Snapdragon 865
SD665 isn't even Lower mid range.
SD720/730 would be lower mid range.
With Sd765/768 being upper mid range.
Benchmarks confirm this.
And there is difference between entry level and low end.
Even Amd and Intel have entry level and low end chipset as different.
They perform differently.
Nobody is fine with any company charging 350 dollars and above for SD665 chipset.

I like its design .. classic and beautiful .. no notch .. no hole .. no pop up cam .. just a little bezzel ..

This is the problem when people use benchmark app to determine the performance .. Instead of every day usage.
665 is definitely can be considered as low end... it perform worst then 660/652...and definitely not on same level as 820...based on my experienced.
665 might be on same territory as 630/625/450.

I had the Sony 10II for three days and returned it. In the US at least no wifi calling or volte/HD Voice means less than stellar calls. Using T-Mobile the phone sounded average at best during calls. I use Xiaomi phones and all I have to do is enter a code on the dial pad and bang, I have both wifi calling and volte. You can buy a Mi 9t from Amazon for 275 dollars and in every way it destroys this phone. You can spend the same on Amazon and get a Mi Note 10 Lite for the same money and again, in every way it destroys this phone. Don't get me wrong, I did like it. The size, the OS and the headphone jack. It was good but I think it's worth 199.00 USD at best. It stutters from time to time just unzipping music rar files. Camera is good but nowhere near as good as Xiaomi, Realme or Samsung at that price. Throw in the lack of quality voice calls not so bright screen and lack of performance. It's just not worth it. I really wanted to love it. I just couldn't.

AnonD-937503, 08 Jun 2020Xiaomi have good structural rigidity in their glass and met... moreseeing the specs of the phone Sony devices are just being made to keep the company afloat it doesn't stand out neither does it say buy me. what is worst Sony were known for phones with insane cameras on this device they gave it 12 mp the z1 had 40 mp and that phone is more than 5 years old. plastic frame not impressed by this phone at all.

So...maybe it's because this phone came out a little before the 1 Mark 2 but I'm fascinated you were able to do the battery for this one but not the 1 Mark 2 still...any word on when that final firmware update is coming? It's literally preventing me from bothering with the pre-order since Battery Life is THE most important aspect in a phone...

The 665 is an upper entry level chip or a lower midrange chip, whatever you want to call it. Definitely not quite midrange and definitely not flagship.

Terms low end and entry level are same thing.
How can 665 be low end chip when it outperform previous 8xx?
636 is stronger than 810.
660 is between 636 and 820.
665/670/675 are above 820.
People buy the phone, not CPU.
No one proces device according to CPU used.
If Sony charges $380 for device with 665 is crime according to haters, but Samsung, Google and Vivo charging near $500 for 670/675 is fine.
