'the most versatile smartphone camera'.
Its not just that. Just look at the samples quality. Its excellent for a smartphone, second to none. Simply left others to dust.
Looks like this Pro+ version using .131 firmware, which normal P40 Pro user already receiving & great feedback about camera improvement. So safe to say, image processing quality now between the Pro & Pro+ version are on par (only differentiate by the focal length system).

This phone is compeletely insane. Photos are stunning, 10x zoom is something never be present befor in such thick device. It's blowing my mind! I'm hope price will be more acceptable in near future. I never saw good camera like this before. Fantastic job Huawei.

But yeah other than that and its stupendously high price tag it is an awesome phone. I was already impressed with the P30 Pro's image quality.

"All-round connectivity, though no 3.5mm jack." this actually is a pros ? wtf
and bad video recording alone enough to push other brand to below 4.0 not to mention No stereo speakers and no micro sd expension . Why this phone still has 4.5 score ?

if there is GMS in This P40 Pro+.
for me, it will be the best phone right now.
but i do appreciate on Huawei push HMS to be alternative of GMS. and for next few years, i think Huawei can be no. 1 smarphone industry in the world.

Moon photo looks quite bad, has less details than a very artificial moon photo that I saw from the P40 Pro (the P40 Pro moon photo I saw was definitely enhanced, it didn't have worse details than my Canon M50 + Sigma 105mm). It seems to confirm again that Huawei's AI really modified moon photos of previous Huawei periscope cameras extremely.
Though I expected it to be slightly better. Maybe the focus wasn't 100% correct?

Best set of cameras on any phone to date. Also, the rest of the phone is top-notch as well.
These phones would be bestsellers if it weren't for political reasons. Hopefully things will stabilize soon.

The red tint from P30 Pro remains in this phone's photos. Disappointing.

"There is no benefit to be had in terms of detail or noise - we even had some photos come out softer, so we think the 5-6 second wait for Night mode is hardly worth it"
Gsmarena, how long does it take to take a low light photo in the default mode? Is the quality worse if I don't want to wait?
