Good front camera position, ugly rear camere positiona and design. No 5G. Expensive for that SOC.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (India) also has a 8 GB + 128 GB Version @Rs20,000 ( About Euro 240)

Xiaomi phones have internal code names (should be in camera sensor names in Hw test --> Software version, enter by clicking Kernel version multiple times in About phone), so these may be useful:

Thus this review is for "joyeuse". That said, you should be able to find out about the front camera sensor. I don't think the 16 MP is quad bayer, just fixed focus probably, like most others.

redmi k30 has much muuuuuuuch better main camera, i am really dissapointed, take a look at k30 photos reviewed by gsmarena, if u compare them, k30 photos are superior in terms of details and clarity,specially in corners(but they suffer from yellowish tint).
i would buy this phone if it had imx686 sensor, pity
i dont know how some youtubers say note9pro has better camera :|

Is it me or night pics on xiaomi midrangers keep getting worse and worse? They are a blurry mess, especially with night mode on... Did they do something with the software...? This was a real disappointment for me. Good thing note 8 pro is still available on retailers here in Greece.

The camera samples are like oil paintings. I think the Redmi 9 shoots better photos, apart from dynamic range.
