As of now, if not everyone, most already knows the difference between Exynos and Snapdragon chipset. I still remember watching a YouTuber demonstrating difference between two S20 ultra one with Exynos and one with 865. Exynos was literally lagging when put to heavy usage, struggling to control the thermals and also atleast 2-3 hours less battery run time. Still Samsung charges same for both the variants, even more for Exynos in certain countries just to get more profit coz of inhouse chipset. I think Samsung should either use same chip or atleast justify the chip difference by cutting the price. Just my thought.

I am big samsung fan and I had all of their note and some S series phones. I convinced a few of my friends to switch to Samsung as well. However, I had enough. I am tired of Samsung treating me as second class customer. No way I am paying for this inferior exinos device. I am switching to IPhone.

2. They don't care about Europe so they will dump their exynos garbage here
3. They don't even use exynos in their own home country - they use the 865+
4. They think they are the new Apple and can charge insane prices

Even though is clear I am losing my time with you, I was talking about this shameless strategy of SAMSUNG to present and sell product as having to versions (Note 20 and Note 20 ULTRA) when, in fact, they have 4 products. The difference Between Exinos 990 and Snapdragon 865+ is huge! Yet they go over it like is nothing. So, if you go for the bait…good luck. And I already said I will buy something else if it will be the case :)). Your comments just imply you have tooth for “Europeans” - is Europe a too civilized area for you?

Get something else, by the way, if you think so highly of yourselves, then why there is no european premium flagship devices? samsung note 20 and S 20 ultra with snapdragon 865 or plus version has a capability to run 120hz at 1440p however because the crappynos processor only can run 90hz on 1440p they decided not to put this option due marketing reasons.this has just been confirmed.
shame on you Sammy shame on you..
given numbers 865 plus vs crappynos 990 the difference goes up to 30 percent.no more bets Sammy no more.

Not a bad phone. Too expensive as always. Sadly in my country we're gonna see only Exynos version.
But I don't understand Samsung. The Note20 (not ultra), It is a joke? it's too expensive for a plastic phone with old GG5. Also in my country it'll use the old Exynos 990.
It's much better option a Note10+ than Note20 (not Ultra). Even the S10lite delivers more value for what you pay.

I was hoping the NOTE 20 will be my 4th NOTE phone. But since I am living in Europe, the difference I will get from those living in USA is way to high for the same money (Exynos 990 vs. Snapdragon 865+). I really have the feeling they consider Europeans as being just plain stupid people. So I will wait for another year to see a change in SAMSUNG attitude. And if meanwhile my NOTE 8 will not survive, then I will just buy something else than SAMSUNG. There is plenty of fishes in the sea. Bye-bye S-Pen!!!

I usually don't like Samsung design, and now I realized old Samsung's design was way better than this one. You know what I really don't like about this design, Camera Bump....what the hell is that

overheating issues of the 990 and is over 2 TIMES slower than the Adreno 650 of the Snapdragon 865. Placing the Mali at an Adreno 630 level, a 2 years old GPU. ... 4: Exynos 990's overall efficiency is bad, it can last entire hours less than the Snapdragon 865, even with 60Hz instead of 120.

I was a Note and Samsung fan for many years and always had note until model 10,
extremely ugly camera hump, shitty Exynos in my area, very bad battery life (for example S20Ultra with even bigger battery, it's about time the EU requires replaceable batteries), completely useless edge display especially for a Phabelt it's a waste of screen space, i don't know what the Samsung strategists think about, but probably nothing except the massively inflated price, i don't need a 5mm thin shitty gamer device that can't be used after 6 hours because the battery gives up!!!

i dont really see any value for paying the full price for this device or any regular phone for 1000+ price tag. i know 5G has inflated the phones prices but that should not be the case as there are many phones you can pick on cheap with 5G support. also the exynos version does not support it and you will be getting an inferior phone.
samsung chip a couple of years ago was better than the SD , but nowadays it is not. samsung should have kept one chip for S20 (exynos) for example and the SD for the note and that should be better for their own good.
