Here their pho... moreIt is not a situation of neglecting anything, samsung as a chip manufactures tries to implement its own chips, the use of snapdragons obey other considerations, related to the markets and govt requests, if that would no be the case, samsung would use only its own SOCs

2 phones look nice samsung pushing the boat out with size and speed can never see apple make a phone that big ye theres the xs max and pro 11 plus but its took them 10 years to make a phone that big samsung have always made big phones with the note serious and the s8 s9 s10 plus

I was planning on upgrading my wife's Note 9 but this is disappointing. Exynos, small battery, camera bump, and to top if off no fast charge on a phone which costs over 1K. The Note line used to be the spec king for Samsung, now it is the half baked line.
I bought the ROG Phone 2 on release and it is by far the best phone Ive used, and it is the first time I dont fee like I need to upgrade after 12 months.
We'll see who decides to create a smartphone that does not cost an arm and a leg, and actually gives you a really good overall phone because Samsung is sinking faster than the Titanic.

The review was more on putting down Note 20 and in general Note 20 series by highlighting the obvious spec differences and shift the focus away from the Ultra! Not sure why is this? Looks like Apple is bit nervous 😁😁

Samsung neglects Europe in the Middle East. Here their phones come with a weak Exynos 990 processor, and not with the latest spec from qualcomm 865+

At least iPhones give you better bang for your buck in terms of software updates, longevity, build quality.

Sammy should be sued for that. E990 vs. 865+ and both models sell for the same price, even more expensive in Europe due to 25% VAT on top of the american price.. I'm speechless.
Sammy should be dragged to court for this. It should be illegal to cheat and scam customers like that.

The Exynos 990 is battery and heat issue, recommend to go Snapdragon is better choice..😖

Gorilla Glass 5... That just says it all.
E990 - I don't even know what to say. They totally lost touch with reality. They think they have become Apple but in reality Samsung is garbage compared to Apple. Samsung phones have maybe 1/100 of the quality an iPhone has. Still Sammy thinks they can scam customers like Apple does. It just doesn't work like that.
I really hope Sammy will get a huge slap in the face and that very few people will buy the Note series.
As a loyal Sammy user for the last 5 years (currently using a Note 8) I'm changing to Apple now. They lost me as a customer by doing the E990 scam in Europe again. I will never touch a Sammy phone again unless it has a Dragon in it.

samsung, why bother making vanilla model when you heavily downgraded from its ultra model.
and joke is its still cost $1000+. 60hz FHD, plastic back, gorilla glass 5... on a $1000 flagship device, even $700 devices have better specs than vanilla Note20. this really is kind of joke... and topping it with exynos SoC... just deal breaker.
i had multiple Samsung devices, from S3, Note4, NoteFE, wanted to have Note20 but looking at pricing and Exynos cpu, it seems Samsung is doing it wrong. its just deal breaker.

do I still need to get a case for the note ultra to pro... moreI was wondering the same thing and I definitely (but sadly) think one needs a case for that giant camera hump. If one plans to use the phone for 2+ years, then a case would be necessary to protect the glass on the camera. Even just 2 years of pulling it in and out of your pocket would probably slowly nick away at the glass causing more and more scratches to appear.
I know they said they used the new Gorilla Glass Victus 7 which is supposed to be less scratchable but I don't believe such marketing. It's probably 0,5% more scratch-resistant than before:)

64mp non quad bayer used with google cam for hdr raw, is the sharpest hi quality image, similar to one you can get only from devices priced in few thousands.
Thats the only reason I would buy these, half year old tech, lagging in the heat, missing convenient jack and priced way too much above flagship killers. But I won't, as those 300euro flagships give more than they take away.
I'm quite sad since I'm also old note user, but the way its going, the pen on W10 devices can do as much with android apps being there.
Well its matter of choice...

Great Stuff..Is It me or these devices are gonna be 7+ inches By next year...
I am still disappointed that the vanilla Note 20 didn't Get WQHD, at least 90Hz Refresh Rate and expandable Memory ...worse of all gorilla glass 5!!!
Plastic Back is Okay but it still didn't Cut cost...
.
The 3.5mm Jack is still a Sort after Feature, still sad it didn't find it's way here...
I still hate the fact that in other countries only the exynos version will be available...
Samsung is still struggling to get its Note To its former reputation, Ever since the Note 4, 5, the best but failed 7, 8 and best of all 9...Samsung has lost its touch with its Note Side.

My verdict if you have a note 9 or 10 series don't bother....If You Have a S10 or 20 series Don't Bother....

I am sad to say it, but the phone of the year might be the iphone SE 2020 or the iphone 12 (Yet to be announced) I love the tab S7 and S7+ though for its Good build, Solid specs and Design.

Goodluck Samsung another brand is coming for Your NOTE Title we still dunno who.

do I still need to get a case for the note ultra to protect the camera from scratches or won't need to?
I remember back in the days I had Samsung galaxy 2 and after a while the photo quality became too bad ... I then realized that the camera has scratches all over it because I didn't use a case. just put the mobile on the table on its back.

I'm planning on upgrading my phone soon and Samsung is insisting on making me migrate to other producers, I used to have note4 and now s8, but Samsung is realy doing it wrong now, unbelievable prices for useless phones, where the hell did 120Hz go? Even 700$ phones have it nowadays, Samsung is trying to play ut like Apple cuz they think that their logo worths a lot, but dear Samsung, I have to say if you are asking for 1000$ on a not much interesting phone, at least stop producing all series and just keep S series, note series and z series, this thing drives me mad, they make a phone for 1000$ and them produce another which looks just like the 1000$one but this one for 300$, if you want us to value your name first you have to value it yourself.
