A pity they're still using the same old ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The only thing that ruins the Note 10+ for me and why I'm switching back to iPhone this year.

The problem is not that the Exynos 990 is performing bad in some scenarios, the problem is Samsung are choosing to do this deliberately (having two chipsets for two different areas). Is like saying : "We don't care about you poor bastards in Europe". So, me as a consumer from Europe, why should I care about a company like that?!

It's not good that are different processors for dif... moreI started using Samsung first Generation Note and enjoyed it’s Exynos processors until Note 9 (skipped few iterations), never faced any issues at all. I must confess I am no gamer but use heavily for videos, cameras, browsing, social media, emails, document reading etc...In today’s world as far as performance is concerned there are many things matter, my iPhone 11Pro Max & Xs Max struggle loading apps like OLX, Browsers, while my Mate 20 Pro flies like anything for my type of usage.Your choice of network, your WiFi Modem speed, the Website servers and its respective implementation, latency, security (encryption) etc come into play. So let’s not fool ourselves thinking that SD is better than Exynos......I used SD in Note 5 which also felt fantastic... these just branding and mind game to boost their margins...

But many users complain about the phone heating while using the camera or simlpe tasks like this which I would honestly hate. I love my phone cold. Also, the battery is as well worse, which is anyway not excellet. So I did not want to take the risk and just bought the US version although in region Exynos is sold. I would buy Exynos again just when it matches Snapdragon.

wasox, 07 Aug 2020Well, you can always get some shining "flagship kille... moreyeah but thats the only thing they have going for them: specs on paper. everything else is terrible, the UI, the software, etc. even the cameras suck despite their high megapixel count because of the dumb software and over smoothing. i'd rather buy an older flagship instead at this point.

Hopefully the exynos version will not be much worse compared to the snapdragon, since I am not in the US. Waiting for full review. Thanks GSMArena

I am the Note Fan from now on stop from Note 20 series because Samsung ship Note20 Ultra in midrange smartphone the kind of network 4G Ram 8G

1. It's not good that are different processors for different counties.
2. India we are paying out more price than countries but not getting snapdragon.
3. OS and UI upgrade is not good when compared with 1+.
Samsung is far behind than competitors. Eventhough spending double amount than 1+ but no use.

I'm very curious about something.... I hardly use my note 10 because of the feel of it now. Have to use that nasty feeling film screen protector. Hate touching that thing. Sorry, just my thoughts. Are we gonna have to resort to that again?

Although I totally agree that samsung should use the snapdragon 865+ in all countries or at least the 5nm exynos 992.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2020Then give the European market a discount, as they're p... moreNo, you talk as if an exynos 990 was an utterly inferior SOC, which clearly is not the case, you think, just suppose, upon reading all the dumb posts of geeks and missinformed morons that the exynos SOC is a worthless piece of junk, and I say "you think" because most likely, you have not had any flagship device using the latest exynos SOC, the differnces compared to its snapdragon are not really huge, and for many really informed and enthudiast users, the unlockable bootloader is a desirable feature
