I’ve been using this phone for about 3-4 years, and I can confidently say it’s dead now. It was fine for the first two years, but after that, things went downhill. This phone started overheating quickly, and eventually, the battery swelled, making the middle part of the phone noticeably bigger. Last year, I started having issues with the battery percentage. It would show inaccurate readings while charging—like the percentage wouldn’t increase at all, and I’d have to restart it multiple times. Then, suddenly, the percentage would shoot up drastically. On top of that, the battery would drop super fast, especially when the phone overheated or was in a hot environment. I remember walking outside to buy food when the battery was at 30%, and by the time I got back to my apartment (a 3-minute walk), it was at just 1%.
Last night, while scrolling through TikTok, the phone suddenly crashed, showing a blueish/white screen before turning black. I tried force restarting it and charging it, but it became completely unresponsive. So yeah, I’m calling it. The phone is definitely dead.
It was decent for things like gaming and downloading apps, but when it comes to the camera, the quality was never great. Would I repurchase it? Absolutely not. I’ve already bought a new phone because I was worried this exact thing would happen, and, well... it did.

I bought this Poco x3 nfc 3 years ago and fine, there's no issue yet even I dropped many times but still working.

Poco X3 NFC, the best phone I have used in my life, so far.
Resistance like old Nokia 3310 (my one fell out many times, got drown in the water - still works perfectly). After 3 years of using, battery life dropped drastically - I easily replaced it by myself, with new battery for £15 and phone works like new.
Excellent camera, reliable phone.
If I will ever need to replace current phone, I'll definitely buy Poco X3 NFC again.

I was buy 2021 poco x3 nfc,,,now 24... This phone camera good but many time this Phone hang and fast2 hot 3 yrs i change battery one time..now my poco x3 button is gone 😂

Honestly, for the price, it's pretty amazing. Used it for almost 3 years now and it's starting to slow down which is understandable. Sometimes, it overheats, and recently, my LCD screen fell off, and now it's dangling every time I try to watch YouTube while lying on the bed. I don't have the time to go to the repair store, so I just taped the side of it to the phone itself and boom problem solved for now.

Had mine 3 years now and it's been back to the company for repair twice, first one the on/off button became red hot to touch so much so it would burn my finger and caused nerve damage, next return, it stopped charging as the battery was overheating and swelled up like a balloon, first repair was in warranty time, second not so I had the pay, I like the phone when it's working right but I guess I have a wrong phone with overheating problems.

If you use a Google camera (GCam etc) port/app on the Poco X3 NFC, the night photos can be much better than the stock Xiaomi camera app.
Different GCam apps have different tuning/priorities, features available and bugs though and the one I'm using UltraCVM often needs to be launched twice to get it to work... The day photo mode doesn't have 64MP but has more detail than the stock cam 16MP but less detail than the stock cam at 64MP.
Not as good as flagship phone cameras but it's much cheaper...

Probably the best decision I have ever made on buying something like this. Been using since Jan-2021, still faced absolutely ZERO problems. After using MIUI for a month, switched to custom roms. Rooted/Unrooted tested them both. Still on a custom rom. Working great till now.

Now I have a poco x3 nfc. This is a good phone now.
One problem I have is that camera bokeh mode is not working after shooting. The option to increase or decrease does not appear. Is there any solution to this?

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2023My Pocox3 Is DeadI have been using mine since March 2021, the charging board failed me two times therefore i couldn't charge it and i stayed without any device for about two weeks. Now although it can charge, it charges at around 0.7W so it needs about 7h in order to fully charge. It served me well, but I'm never buying another Poco again

I really like x3nfc because after 2 years the battery is still good. Many have problems with the x3pro mobo because the sd860 causes the phone to heat up easily. Also playing while charging is a bad habit.
