iOS Never Again, 22 Sep 2020That is to be expected. This is very common with every new ... more1) So do Android phones... (Android users tend to upgrade sooner so don't realise it as much)

The situation is exactly the same except fortunately for iOS users their devices aren't neglected quite as soon as most Android devices. Yes, an old device will be slower and may not support the newer features because they're NEW features which more often than not require new hardware and/or more processing power to back them up. Android is no different, oh they've added Vulkan support but you're device was the generation before and your gpu doesn't support it... Oh well! That's the way things work...
For a little context, I've been a user of both Android & iOS, I'm a professional game developer who's developed for both iOS & Android and I have to say that Android is a dumpster fire in comparison. The main issue being the thousands of different devices all running with slightly different firmware & hardware. The number of complaints like 'Oh this doesn't work on my random budget phone for x reason' is astonishing... I could probably fit the iOS devices I need to support on my desk, not a chance in hell for Android...
iOS has clean APIs, good (usually) tools and devices that perform significantly better and more reliably than any Android device I've ever known.
It's not perfect as you pointed out but that's reality, Android is no better in that regard...

iOS 14 is actually Android 4.x version =))

all of a sudden my watch battery % is no longer showing on the battery widget anyone else have this issue any known fixes?

iOS 14 ruined my iPhone 7.
No camera function anymore.
Microphone won’t work, which goes against its main purpose as now I can’t make or receive calls anymore.

Ok review but most of this could be gleaned from Apple’s website - greater in-depth details would be appreciated. You’re once again behind the curve re Apple stuff. Wasn’t that long ago you had great Apple coverage and insight.

In IOS 14 battery is drains faster than before on my 7+, n I wish I could customize new app library according to my requirements. Some widgets are useful n others are not so there should be more from app store but I found none useful for me.
