Anonymous, 28 Oct 2020Hi. Need an advice. What is better S20 Fe 5G (Snapdragon) w... moreIn comparison to regular S20 (exynos+ 8GB ram), I shall prefer FE with Snapdragon, 6 GB Ram may sound less but its sufficient for daily activities.

      sslalani.nz, 25 Oct 2020hi there, need help: 1. 'S20 FE 5G' vs 'A... moreMy Take : S20 FE

you will get a flagship experience for the price you pay extra over the A71 .
5G is not as relevant in the current scenario, depends on where you are located

      Things in favor of FE
      IP Rating
Screen Refresh rate ( makes a lot of difference in the user experience, you wont believe until you use it)
      Better chipset
      Better screen
      Storage Speed (UFS 3.1)
Better computational photography ( dont go with Megapixel of A71, FE has better sensor)
      Wireless charging / reverse charging
Photo / Video is as good as S20+ (flagship grade)

Lastly FE can fetch you better resale / trade-in down the lane

Aghosh, 26 Oct 2020Hi, purchased S20 FE last week in India. The exynos version... moreThe FE Edition doesn't come with an Exynos processor.........

I bought the S20FE a few weeks ago and started to notice I was getting a lot of hang ups. I assumed it was other callers dropping because of poor signal. Well it isn't. Its the virtual proximity sensor. On mine, it barely works. The phone stays active for at least several seconds when I put the phone to my ear. AND worse, if I move around, the screen will activate while the phone is at my ear. So its then easy to hit buttons, hang up, dial someone else, launch apps.... The camera and screen work well enough. But the fingerprint scanner is much worse than my S9, the gorilla glass is a step down from the S9 and this proximity sensor is just horrid. I traded in my S9 and I would gladly trade my s20FE back for my S9.

Hi, purchased S20 FE last week in India. The exynos version has massive battery issues. Standby drain is surprisingly high. I have been using Androids for over 8 years, so used all tips to save battery (power saving, lower screen refresh rate, low brightness, location and bluetooth off, scanning off etc) but does not seem to make much difference, as compared to my previous phone- Galaxy Note 9. Anyone else facing this issue?

                  hi there, need help:

                  1. 'S20 FE 5G' vs 'A71 5G'?
                  2. FE got the main camera 12MP only? How good it could be?

                  p.s. Current phone: S7 Edge

I've never heard any specific issues of in screen fingerprint scanners that doesn't work due to tempered glass screen protectors. I mean, even if there were some that blocked the in display fingerprint scanner, you can just look for those that work with the in display fingerprint scanners, no? These has been out of the market for quite some time now and I am sure there are loads of them out there that work just fine with in display fingerprint readers. My S10 5G has no issues whatsoever when I look for tempered glass screen protectors that claim they work with in display fingerprint readers. Heck, the not-so-popular Ultrasonic fingerprint reader on my phone works just fine with tempered glass screen protectors.

Trea, 20 Oct 2020Help me choose between the A71 & the M31 if I were to b... moreA71 is definitely superior to m31( except for the battery) you should compare the a71 to m51.
The m51 is definitely better than a71 on paper, featuring a better chipset, mega battery and a side mounted sensor which is faster.however a71 feels more premium and beautiful and has wayyy better software support. It's gonna get 3 years of update. Not to mention m51( and all other m series phones) feature one ui core which lacks knox protection and some other software features such as bixby and good lock support. If ur good with the software lack the m51 is the phone for you, but if software and phone beauty is that important a71 is definitely a wonderful phone.
