For people who don't have enough coverage to go online, old tech like FM Radio is still relevant and makes a lot of sense.

It's always helpful to have FM Radio to listen to the latest reports on floods when you don't have any working Wi-Fi or mobile data. As for emergency alerts, I don't think my government agency ever imposes that. Usually, they'll notify something first-hand through social media and news, including on the radio.

Our boys got a message on the news channel FM frequency when a pissed off flooding summer day was pouring in and were basically critically thought to make their final sales of the day, stop to make final orders at carryouts and canteens as well as final purchases at confection stands, commissaries and final purchases of garden guns and saturday night specials for their own safety - some of them also had boomboxes with the AM frequency news, these were on some Samsung Galaxy S3 Minis and Galaxy Ace devices back in 2013, it is usually FM radio in the day and cable in the evening

You won't see much of it in the flagship segment other than LG. ASUS does have several flagship Zenfone and ROG Phones with FM Radio, but that is a region-specific feature.
My current smartphone is an LG V50 with a flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC. Its successor, the V60, also supports FM Radio. I also got a Huawei Mate 20 since it was the only flagship Huawei smartphone with FM Radio.

We are going to upgrade our boys at the towers handsets from Huawei Vitria to Nokia One (2017) and Samsung Galaxy J2 - do you think that should be good for them? they need the FM radio and the calling/MMS as well as the camera - we do not give the boys at the pit any device that has LTE, we also give them the option of pandora radio but nobody ever wanted that garbage with internet "radio" DJs trying way too hard

It even has its own system app. But because the Wing doesn't have a headphone jack, you either need to use a USB-C earphone or a 3.5mm adapter. FM Radio won't ever work with Bluetooth.

YUKI93, 20 Aug 2022I managed to own this phone at the end of July 2022 for the... moredo you know if it has FM radio or not? our boys in the towers and the pit still use LG Rebels and Huaweis because they have FM radio for slow sales days to increase morale and are easily disposable at low expenses, FM radio has helped a lot on phones like to warn them of a severe thunderstorm in the summer or like abduction alert it keeps them smart

I managed to own this phone at the end of July 2022 for the equivalent of $270. It really didn't take long for me to fall in love with this phone, especially its gimbal stabilization with full manual control. I also like how useful the second screen can be for touch keyboard and media playback, especially when watching YouTube and Twitch. Definitely worth getting one if you are a true gadget geek who loves to explore different types of smartphones.

So to be short, you will not be able to get any updates out of USA unless you have AT&T international roaming and AT&T sim card activated in your phone. Good luck.

I Bought LG Wing AT&T branded phone in Pakistan, problem is this that it sticks with android 10 and when i tried to update my phone, i received a message that your phone is upto date, please guide me on it.

I'm not satisfied for lg wing camera, it's a very good phone but i think it's camera might be more better, please do something for it, Improve the phone performance and camera quality, Hope it will fixed soon

They always take a diss on less popular brands when trying out new ideas but then over glorify popular brands for doing that same exact thing and even calling it "the future". Man, I do wish that LG couldn't ever give a face to those kinds of people. It only going to ruin their image even more.
