I don't have an idea why camera setup wasn't brought from OP 8 Pro. Photos are very average, no improvement from OP 8 or OP 7t, that's disappointing from Oneplus.

    Wireless charging isnt needed in any phone, in my opinion. It just drives the cost up. Wired charging is faster anyway. We got 30, 33, 50 and 65 out now. 100 and up in the future. What's wireless' highest? 9? 15? Forgettable when compared to the aforementioned wired speeds. And having plastic/polycarbonate/etc for the backs of phone instead of glass (which is needed for wireless charging) would also lower the price of phones.

      Nearest competitors :

      Iphone 12 - better everything only lacs high refresh rate and fast charge

      Pixel 5 - better everything only lacs performance and fast charge

      Samsung s20 FE - better everything

      Should have borrowed 8 pros camera to compete in its price range. Completely agree with Mkbhd remark as an awkward phone by one plus.

        A little bit dissapointed by the screen and camera performance.

          Looks like galaxy s20 from back

            I suppose at the price point I'd be interested ($808. shipped,taxed to NYS) but I own and enjoy a 7pro.
            Is it worth making the 7pro the backup?
            Real question, answers welcomed.

              "Google has joined the fray with Pixel 5", please it's more like a cannon fodder to the others. SD 765G won't close to anything with SD 865G.
