It is not a bad phone but I honestly think that they could have made it more accessible with a better price aspect. I like the camera but the battery and camaera leaves much to be desired.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2020Downgrade to MIUI 11 which came with the box. Planned obsol... moreTrue, security patches are extremely overrated.
They offer nothing more than bragging rights.

It's a good phone, but some things were annoying for me.
The connectivity compared to the other phones I've used isn't the best. I've had better service from other phones.

Can't use the always on display features unless you switch your region to uk. Which isn't a huge issue as I'm using a mate 30 pro right now and we'll... Yeah, but still a minor gripe.

Battery life was not as good as I was expecting. I got about a day and a half(about 7 hours 30 minutes of screen on time) which is good, but the way it was being touted by everyone, I was expecting some next level stuff.

Most annoying gripe is the charger. Having to use the uk to us adapter is fine, but the charger is just to big and it only makes it easily pop off the plug a lot.

        *** 1\2

It's a solid phone, overall tho.

Coming from POCO F1, F2 Pro is a huge upgrade for me at least in the areas I wish - amoled screen, quality audio and video playback . Refresh rate is never a huge deal for me and I see it as only a gimmick. Camera could've been better. Two huge let downs are speakers(stereo speakers would've been awesome) and the POCO OS, my F1 at least didn't have any ads. F2 pro looks cheap in that and Xiaomi is brainless doing this. MIUI always had this ads, poco didn't had them. How crap they included for F2 pro too.

Planned obsolescence Xiaomi does this to force people to buy new phones. The best you can do never update a Xiaomi device & when it starts throttling hard reset & disable automatic updates. Every oem does this. The Google security patches are a gimmick who has ever been hacked for not updating to the latest security patch

Android Authority, 28 Oct 2020I think it's under 600 Euros. I paid £270 new from Xiaomi website... It's basically free.

It does have good features but the price is a bit too much and frankly not worth the phone

Plus you need import it from China. If Mi 10 Ultra is within your budget, just go get it. It's prob the best flagship in 2020 (except for Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra/Mate 40 Pro). Plus, Xiaomi doesn't give IP ratings for its phones since it's cutting costs. Just check out water tests for Xiaomi phones on YouTube.

I got this phone from Amazon for 350 euros. Amazing. And if you can't remember when you last used wired headphones, you don't work in media. Headphone jacks are irreplaceable.

The only thing stopping me of buying the F2 Pro is my Mi9T pro. The best deal of 2019 followed by the best of 2020. And always rocking Xiaomi.eu ROMs for the best possible user experience!

Each one has their pros and cons.

S20 FE: Best in class camera, IP68, premium 120hz screen, great battery but weak fast charging and not so premium build quality.

OnePlus 8T: 65W fast charging, premium 120hz screen, unofficial IP68 but has slightly inferior cameras compared to others.

Mi 10T Pro: Best looking out of the bunch, good camera, cheapest among the lot but lacks IP68.

Mi 10 ultra: Premium All rounder but lacks IP68.

Won't bother with others as they have certain elements missing like weak camera on Realme X50 pro, Poco F2 pro with 60hz screen and okay camera, iPhone 12 is just Meh with weak battery, outdated looks, 60hz display.
Galaxy S20 is 200$ expensive than S20 fe with an embarrassing Exynos topping on that cake.

Have done it since 2010. Long animations are just annoying, iOS being the absolute worst. Animation after animation, it feels like watching a damn slideshow of animations.

Miui worked fine from day 1. The only problem app I have at the moment is the AliExpress app, which does odd things sometimes. Before that, Outlook sometimes froze but after a few updates it works fine. There's nothing wrong with the ui.

These 'Xiaomi has ads' comments are getting really old. Seriously, a minute Googling would land you hundreds of results on how to disable ads. Btw, Samsung is also giving ads despite selling at higher price than Xiaomi. Go figure.
