I bet you don't even own a Sony flagship. Just randomly defending Sony in every thread blindly.
Sony manufactures the sensors yet can't get their auto mode right (which is the mode everyone uses on a smartphone). Now don't tell me it is meant to be used in pro mode or by photographers or some other bullsh*t along those lines. Since we know that is a giant lie and nothing but marketing. A real photographer would pick a mirrorless canera or a Dslr for their professional work.

    Android Authority, 28 Nov 2020Pixel does astrophotography way better than Xperia. And the crazy thing is that GCAM allows the Xperia to do the same trick as the Pixel.
    Sony's way of astrophotography is the true photographic sense, as it's totally from the user's knowledge on how to shoot one, while on the Pixel, it's the AI that's doing the job, not the user.
    To be honest, relying too much on AI is no fun. It lacks creativity, and doesn't teach you anything about how things work. And have I mentioned that Sony allows you to shoot those astrophotographs in RAW? It gives much better flexibility on how the final JPEG output would look like, so you can control the image better according to your preference.

    But people are lazy to move nowadays, so that's about it.

For sure there would be at least one out there that would work extremely well with this phone. The fact that there's RAW support on all three sensors of the 1 II means all sensors must have unlocked camera api as well.
        Besides, GCAM works on pretty much every Android phone nowadays, and Sony's camera setup is nothing sort of unfamiliar to work with GCAM ports.

I get amazing photos, but you have to enjoy using manual controls. The auto mode works, but it's not up to the level of other flagships. With photo pro, you are getting as good if not better in situations like night mode with a long shutter

                    Following the steps shouldn't have to be so hard on it. There are already working GCAM ports on the previous Xperia 1 (Mark 1), and that one has even less flexibility compared to 1 II, so definitely GCAM ports should work better on this one.

                                3). I think I already said more than 10 times that the exposure bracketing is absolutely nothing to do with saturation of the image since it's determined by the post processing.

                                        Huawei develops most performance sensors thanks to Sony's know how. But Huawei is couputational not real life rederings. So the chepest, the most natural renders, manual comands and such a clean interface for Android, Sony 1II it's a must have! Icrap for near 2000 euros?! Look how plastified are their shots and just for some little better hdr filming?! Money trasher: Apple and SS!
                                        Xperia is top smartphone photography in 2020!
                                        Huawei next in camera being the second versatile! Sad because of the limitation in its System!
