Who is reading such a big post? Very long and unwanted review. Why can't you upload a video long-term review?
Anyway, I am using Note 9 Pro Max (128GB/8GB) since 3 months and it is awesome phone for this price range.
Sometimes, if change themes very often or apply unsupported theme, the phone acts weird; then I change the theme which is supporting MIUI 12 and it becomes fine.
Awesome battery and fast charging, great Cameras (front and back), Dual Sim + Dedicated SDCard slot, Snapdragon processor and all other specs are great for this price range. Do not compare it with flagship phones, as this is mid-range phone.

Why are they comparing a mid range phone to an high end flagship. Doesn't make sense. If you want to give a decent review try comparing it with other devices in the same range. That's what will actually help someone who is buying this. This is common sense. (As mentioned in he posting rules.)

The camera dust issue hasn't been discussed. It was the main reason that people hesitate to go for redmi 9 series.

I've been using the Note 9 pro, not max. It actually fares me well, even better than my mom's note 8 pro which is similar in specs. I don't know whether it's just me but buying something after thought and savings just makes up for some of the shenanigans. But I'm no expert so don't take my word for it. :-)

Author should compare apples with 🍎, this is not flagship... I use this phone and galaxy s10, not same of course but for price this phone is definitely ok

The back camera got full of dust ...Even it's images are full of fades ... This problem really suck... It's looks like Redmi deceive us

Got one as present and using it right now. It is a bit of upgrade from my old RN8Pro. One the Bluetooth connected instantly whereas RN8Pro takes a bit of time. Second the haptic feedback feels much more like flagship. Third GCAM works as intended cause yeah Snapdragon. Fourth the screen is more color accurate. Haven't tried Poco X3 though. I do hope my present was Poco but never complain i guess...

What kind of person basis their experience on being able to download ring tones? Hahahah. I have an old Sony I'll send you and you can have all the ringtones you want. A grown ass man, complaining about ringtones. Hilarious.
