Samsung keeps getting worse with years, as you won't even get a charger with this thing I'd rather buy a Xiaomi with better chipset (I'm in Europe) and get even a free phone case... all that for half the price.

        Very disappointing benchmarks. Not what I expect from a flagship, especially at the prices Samsung is charging.

          S21 main camera = 44m2 area
          P40 main camera = 73mm2 area

          P40 has obligation do better. Main camera of P40 is larger than even 21 Ultra.
          Does not matter price of s21, it cant do better with this hardware difference.
          It is like 1" vs APSC.

                Why flat screen is cons? On contrary I find it more pleasant to view and hold, it should be cheaper to produce too hence savings (if manufacturer passes it down to consumer). I find the whole phone not exciting at all, Android has a void without Huawei, hence I am hanging on to the 20X until the next legitimate challenger to the mighty Apple :p

                  Don't forget the S20 FE 5G which is also better than the S21 at some areas, with the SD865 , with charger, SD Card , and is much cheaper!

THats such great news for people who like small flagships, because it was always the weak point with this kind of phones. This is simply the best small flagship on the market right now.

                        One other thing. Why don't GSMarena say something about Xiaomi in the compeition section of the review? You mention Oneplus, Apple and Huawei but nothing about Xiaomi. Really strange since Xiaomi is the new Huawei atleast when it comes to the European market. Xiaomi has beaten Samsung galaxy in 2 generations now and should be mentioned even in this review.

                            Samsung has become Apple. Nothing new in their phones. They can't go on like this. Deliver expensive phones with no new user experience. I wouldn't pay more than 500 USD for Galaxy S21 5G.

                                  So now "151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9 mm" is considered compact? That's about the size of an S7 Edge (150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm) which was considered a full-size flagship just a few years ago...

                                    So, quite disappointing. I was looking forward to replace my S9. And I really appreciate the software support Samsung managed to deliver in the last years.
                                    The S21 looks fine, but no at that price. This phone should have neen the S21 FE @650-700E and all would be fine. But at 850E it is simply lacking. I see no advantage over the OP 8T here except for the slightly better camera, which is not worth the 250E premium.
                                    I never thought I would say this, but at this point the iPhone 12 looks like the better value.
