consider A12 issues to be more software than hardware. which would make sense with all the ones having issues are software problems than makes hardware problems. i had no major problems for 2.5 mo. However, you should look into developer mode which allows you to modify the software to your liking. prevent freezing, audio settings, etc. in other words nothing is going to be perfect, so find a way to just make it better for you if you can...or spend more money.

Thought a lot of Samsung b4 getting this for my brother.
Can't stand it. On even the cheapest smart-phones I've owned, beginning with 8GB of memory, the icons just appear.
On this one, to get to the icon selection I set-up, at every turn I need to press the middle icon on the bottom & then sweep-up from the bottom for about an inch.
If there's a way to avoid this, the guy at T-Mobile had nothing.
And forget about dialing 611. The carriers seem to be using the same polite but usually not helpful.customer service people in another country.

You could just add a little bit more money for a better, faster and nicer camera shots. You know most places that sell phones or even carrier network purchased phones can be replaced/upgraded to your liking just be prepared for the additional cost to suite your preference.

I got this phone about three months ago... It performed and served me well, greao Phone!!! But recently, it started getting hot to the extent that I can't pick calls and it hangs when it gets hot... Any solution?
I'm using the 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM variant, thank you.

Had one of these for a month now. Touchscreen has been consistently terrible since day one.

Have this phone for the past 10 months.
Happy as hell!!! Remeber u get what u pay for it.
I drop it on its screen still perfect. Was in the swimming pool still perfect. Aswell mud and sand. Perfect.
I love this phone..
U cant say this phone is bad but u only pay 179$ no its u thats mad to aspect it to be a 500$ phone.
So u cant go wrong

honestly i got this phone two days ago and i already felt tired of it, the front camera is too poor, not that user friendly, i have to download hios launcher, no inbult screen record, i have to download from playstore, honestly samsung produced shit this time, i just suceeded in buying just brand name called samsung... i guess they need to add some some features to their camera it really poor for the brand, after buying the phone costly, i still cant enjoy it, m pissed off
