Xiaomi Redmi 9T review

My Redmi 9T (4/64) doesn't have led notification. There's no light to indicate when charging. Is it just my phone or it's general to this model?

    Outdoor calling is poor. Frequently loud speaker not work. Gross function should be ok in this price.

                I got my Redmi 9t about 5 months ago and one day, it just stops powering after I tried to reboot it and now it has developed a board issue. Is this a general thing with Redmi phones? Has anyone else experienced the same thing? This is my first time using anything from Xiaomi and, honestly, I feel very reluctant about patronizing the brand again.

                    Phone seemed great "at first !"
                    But now seems every single operation or notice is followed or mixed in with adds.
                    I didn't buy this phone to read adds !!
                    No confidence in the security as constantly getting spam,hack attempts.
                    Shame as the battery,camera etc are good. But why oh why must adds be crammed in everywhere ??
                    Game recommendations on main screen that you can't get rid of ?
                    Every clean, virus check , power boost, any operation followed by MORE UNWANTED, UN-REQUESTED ADDS !!
                    RAPIDLY GETTING SICK OF EVEN TURNING THE PHONE ON.
                    There is "no way" to opt out of these endless adds.
                    Good phone,shame about the operating system !!
                    Will not buy this brand again !!!!!
                    I hardly use my phone,so very few places have my details and I take and use every precaution.
                    Will be looking for a new phone quickly

                      May redmi 9t is version MUI 12.17?

                      Is that ok?

                      I saw version 12.5 but mine is 12.17?

                      Can someone explain this to me?

                        I just have my Xiaomi redmi 9t yesterday. Love the camera. Love the performance. And the battery takes almost 3 hrs to be full and I've use my phone 10hrs and still I have 20% battery left. Love using it.

                          Been using the 9T since January. Like the overall performance. Deactivate most of the advertisements. Playing free Spotify on the stereo speakers, just great. Remote control for fan, stereo set, aircon... a breeze. Good to have a big battery. Install all security passwords and sensors for the face and fingers very fast. The best part, the price. They must have a very small profit margin to produce and sell 9T. Ha3.

                            Oppo is a good brand but Xiaomi is making noises all around mobile stores.

                            just buy it because of 6000 batteries

                            If your purposed is selfie camera and recording a lot using videos (this is not the phone for you)
                            But camera can look good with a good lighting, or light from the sun, or a brighter room.

                            Video Stabilizer is the main issue here.

                            But if you play mobile legends or genshin impact, This phone is not bad at all.

                            Whole day of tiktok and instagram and facebook is more than enough for an 6000mah battery.

                            For best results, Enjoy this phone at MUI 10 first.Then update soon.

                                        I found that the headphone output of this smartphone is severely lacking, like the worst I've seen in over 10 years. It is even worse than the original redmi 9.

                                        The max output voltage with headphones plugged in is 250 mV, without headphones it is 800 mV, they added something to the phone that lowers the max volume by 10 dB every time it detects that you have headphones. 250mV is too little btw (very low end smartphones of 2013 were capable of 500 mV).

                                        To make it worse the phone has a 50 Ohm output impedance, it is worse than the original redmi 9 in this as well, meaning that pretty much most headphones will be short on volume.
