"You can't do the same for the File Manger through, meaning complete removal is impossible."

This alone is enough to put me off from buying this phone despite having all the essential features that I need.

I've had this phone for a month now. I always look to gsmarena for purchase advice. This is why I am surprised there is no mention of overheating issues. Cod mobile will crash after awhile. The higher the graphics, the more frequent the crashes. Mortal kombat mobile doesn't crash, but after the phome heats up, the game starts stuttering.

12.5.1.0 update is rolling out today on ny phone so I will update my impressions.

using the phone in lowe/standard refresh rate would be a better choice.

Does anyone experiencing a hard touch sometimes and then you have to restart the phone to get fixed? I just want to know the reason why is this happening? Is this a hardware defect?

Snapdragon 860 for 200EUR flat, i am impressed

Recently I upgra... moreAlso, as an aside, the comments about persistent ads appearing and tons of bloatware are (in my experience) exaggerated. The bloatware can all be deleted in 5 minutes. I have not seen many ads, and these can also be easily disabled. Plenty of YouTuber videos that show how to do this. I certainly would not use this as a reason for not getting this phone.

I bought the original X3 NFC and loved it. Recently I upgraded to the X3 Pro and it is even better.

The chipset is a significant upgrade. Very noticeable while doing some casual gaming.

I'm not a huge camera-guy but the X3 Pro camera does the job for me well enough. I have not done a comparison between the two X3's to see which I think is better, but I'm not a pro photographer. All I need is to capture decent shots of the kids and pets for posterity and both do a fine job for that.

I came from Samsung's One UI and, personally, I love MIUI as an alternative. Maybe it is just because it is new and different. But I never understood the negative comments around MIUI, I think its great. My Pro model is running a later version and has some better features like the improved notifications bar and control panel, but I assume this will all come to the X3 NFC eventually with an upgrade.

Often overlooked, but there is excellent sound, call quality, and haptics on both my X3 phones.

Screen brightness could be better if you are outdoor in harsh sunlight. But indoors I tend to run the screen at about 25%-30% brightness and this is more than enough for me.

Battery is easily a full day, and I usually get 1.5 or even 2 days from it. Possibly because I am not a massive gamer and I run at low screen brightness. But even still, the battery is absolutely brilliant.

Other positives? Gorilla Glass 6, pre-installed screen protector, 33W charging, superbly responsive fingerprint reader.

Negatives? Not many. It is heavy for sure. Its not necessarily the prettiest (but I use a case anyway so you don't really notice), large camera bump. Nothing that would be a deal breaker for buying the phone.

Overall: Coming from a pretty old and crummy Galaxy S8, this is a real breath of fresh air. Absolutely love it and highly recommend.

                              IrfanYXP, 26 Mar 2021Well there's Poco F3 with Snapdragon 870 5G 120hz &quo... moreWtf, craaaaazy the display on the A42 5g is super trash
The poco f3 has the best E4 A+ amoled display
The diffeennce in the soc, display, sound quality, build quality, vibration motor, design is night and day and the A42 5g is still more expensive, I didn't trust that until I saw the specs
Even apple cannot do that, that's a joke, And I am sure some fanboys will still defend it, if you defend one ui its ok even tho I don't like one ui, but defending its hardware is 🤢🤮
The A42 5g should not cost more than 220$
Else its a SUPER EXPENSIVE TRASSSHHHH wtf is this price Are they kidding or what, just compare,
I don't know why I compare them its like comparing a flagship phone with an phone that has entry level display and build and design but with midrange soc
I can't beleive, if someone don't like one ui or don't mind not having one ui WHY THE FCK HE WILL BUY THIS ***,**************

I'm using the X3 NFC since October and haven't had any issue with the software. Just disable or uninstall bloatware apps, ads etc. One more thing don't use the security apps, just let Android manages the RAM by itself and you're set for a smooth ride with MIUI.

yea yea yea u guys all talking nonsense... best phone with ufs 3.1 like nvme anddd beter proc.. definitely must buy for ppl who chose cheap gaming

I have never been a fan of Xiaomi in the first place but this phone seems to tick almost all of the boxes for a flagship-grade smartphone, especially for FM Radio support. Okay, the build quality can be easily questionable, but I don't really expect much for a phone that costs around $300 in the first place. But MIUI is still a big NO-NO for me, so I'd buy this phone once there is custom ROM support for it. I do like the hardware a lot, but definitely not the software.
