Anonymous, 28 Mar 2021Okay, I'm literally confused. Here's the deal, I ... moreI think Mi 10t is a good one in this price range. Decent overall performance and youre basically future proofing yourself in case it'll last you for a couple of years.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2021Okay, I'm literally confused. Here's the deal, I ... moreI suggest you to not consider LG phones cuz they're done with their phone business. And DO NOT listen to those who are suggesting mid-range phones like Realme X7 and Redmi note 10 pro. Flagship GPUs are at least three times as powerful as mid-range ones and you need all the GPU power for your games. In my opinion you could go for any of Poco X3 Pro(860), Poco F3(870) and Moto G100(870). Just make sure that it's a Snapdragon 8xx series chipset, and not a 7xx series or a Mediatek one. Also don't pay attention to Amoled fanatics, ips lcd screens are quite good these days and are much more durable.

Okay, I'm literally confused. Here's the deal, I have around 300-400 dollars to spend on a new phone. My current phone is really trash (Realme C1) because I didn't know much about phones 1 and a half years ago. My question is, will you recommend this phone for !e to buy or nahh? I need a phone that's pretty of good in gaming, good camera, good battery, storage, features, and overall performance. I saw a lot of people talking trash about the screen since it's an IPS LCD and my current phone is the same, and to be honest, I don't have a problem with it (you can enlighten me). If you have any other suggestions or recommendations on what I should buy for around 300-400, please feel free to express your thoughts. It would really help me a lot. Oh and also, I think I don't really need a phone with 5G cause my location doesn't support that yet. And also, do i really need 256gb of storage or is 128gb enough? (I'm planning on playing PUBG mobile, COD mobile, Genshin Impact, Vainglory, Mobile Legends, and Mortal Kombat). Lastly, I found some deals about some interesting phones that I can buy with my budget. What do you think? should I go for ome of them? Here's my choice: Redmi note 9 pro 5G, LG V50/LG V50s, LG V60, Realme X50/X50m, POCO X3 Pro, Realme X7, Realme 7/7pro, LG Velvet, Redmi K30 5G, and Redmi 10x 5G. Sorry for tne very long consultation. It would really really help me a lot.

I wanna try to buy Sharp Aquos R2 or LG G7 that's cheap as Redmi Note 9 but with Snapdragon 845 which still relevant and 120hz 1440p screen which exist before Razer phone. The big downside is the battery though too small atleast minimum 4000mah :/

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2021What's ur definition of 'barely an upgrade'?... moreI know that SoC matters a lot. That's really obvious.

My point is if the user already have the X3 NFC, there's no point "upgrading". If the user doesn't have the X3 NFC then choose the X3 Pro.

The users asks without specifying his/her main use-case or problems and may already have the X3 NFC which isn't even that old. That's a huge red-flag for impulse spending.

SoC upgrade is a BIG UPGRADE compared to 64MP camera sensors which ACTUALLY 16MP ones, weak SoC which big core only run when running GeekBench which shown by the frequent hiccups supporting 120Hz?

Why I ALWAYS seem to make a big deal of SoC?
Well, because, unlike laptop when u talk about processor, its about the CPU (and the intergated IGP in it), SoC is a SYSTEM on CHIP, which means ALL THE CORE COMPONENTS of smartphones are depends on the quality of the SoC.

When u buy phones with FLAGSHIP SoC, u can rest assured that ALL the components in it are top notch (CPU, GPU, NPU, DSP, ISP, better modem, support better memory, have better connectivity, including GPS & Wi-Fi, & UFS 3 ready).
When u get one, u don't have to worry for the next 3 years, as they are build to last.

                                      What about hi-mid range SoC?
Qualcomm has made sure that ALL the components in it are half-baked, meaning u get decent specs which will last u a year or two, but that's it.

Do u know why Qualcomm keep introducing newer & newer SoC every few months which only made us regret BUT ONLY introduced better flagship once a year?
Because mid-range SoC are half-baked in EVERYTHING; u could game but will struggling with AAA titles which required 'flagship' GPU, u could take decent photo & video BUT never good enough because of the limitation of the DSP, ISP, and camera hardware, u get big internal storage but with slow eMMC, u get 8GB RAM but with old LPDDR3 / 4, and so on.
With these, now u realize why many people often buy new phone? because they are like u, saying 'it's enough for daily driver' when in fact, human's nature is insatiable, NEVER feel enough of something, and then, before long, buy another POTATO phone.

In the end, people who say 'mid-range SoC's enough for daily driver' are the big money spender over people who buys flagship / flagship-killer phone, because SoC.MATTERS.A.LOT
