It is far be... morewho said it was better? i wrote that to show it ticked all the fundamentals of the phone, no one needs 65W charging as it only degrades long term battery health quicker than a 30W charger which is fast enough for the average person. when i meant a good set of cameras, i meant hardware, and it should be able to take good photos since the Xperia 1II took good photos.

            Very good colour reproduction, exposure, lens flare control, detail and noise processing from the main camera.. well done Vivo. I also like the fact that it creates an unnatural light "blob" when pointed towards the sun unlike most other phones on the market (good HDR processing). However, I think going with F1.5 lens was a huge mistake. The main camera's corner to corner sharpness is nowhere near as good as X50 Pro+ and unless you're shooting in low light soft edges become really obvious. Hopefully they will fix it in the next generation (and bring the brand new RGBW sensor as well).

            The 5x periscope camera is also a disappointment - Instead of making the sensor larger, they made it smaller than the predecessor. I was expecting them to use the same sensor as the portrait camera (1/2.8 inch 32MP), but I guess there wasn't any space for it? It's very unfortunate, nonetheless.

            UWA camera, on the other hand, is very well done. Low distortion, excellent details, great stabilisation and pleasing, natural colours. Easily one of the best UWA on a mobile phone, end of story.

            Overall it's a decent phone with a great camera, but I'm wishing that Vivo will release their true flagship later this year.

Huawei will stay alive in the mobile space, or at least sell all the smartphone-business-related assets to Honor first just in case they have to exit this industry (though the latter is highly unlikely to happen). Sony's mobile division will be "kept" alive no matter what much loss/profit it creates because the company needs it to stay competitive in the field in terms of 5G technologies.

                    Lyndino, 22 Apr 2021Why do most chinese brand phones use less than 500ppi display?To keep the price lower? More expensive high end phones from China (OnePlus 9 Pro, Oppo Find X3 Pro, Mi 11 series) have QHD+ panels whose pixel density is over 500ppi.

                        4K120 fps HDR10 is display it is about video recording capabilities but wait that half of the story , do you know it is with manual video featured of focus peaking mic control eye focus and focus shifting..

                            At a time when xioami, realme, oppo and even vivo were being innovative and far ahead of samsung and apple and made sure specs killed.. especially battery.. but downgrading and making it mediocre for a top phone in their lineup.. what are they doing..

                              but if they want the real deal, then make it 16:9.

                                      a 2021 flagship phone that has high quality flat panel , 3.5mm with good dac and sd card expansion with manual video up to 4K120fps HDR10.

                                      I guess you knew what is it the one and only brand "Xperiaaaaaa"
