gadgetwhisperer, 28 Apr 2021and this is exactly why i bought Mi10U insteadCool, how do you find it? I'm tempted to import one to the UK, but sorely wish the 11U had been better so I wouldn't have to worry about missing mobile bands and warranties.

      Dear GSMArena staff,

Can we have a poll on what rear camera as selfie system is the best in opinion of the users?

      1. Secondary display on the back
      2. Stationary Flip up solution like one from Asus Zenfone
      3. Sliding Flip up solution from few Samsung's midrangers
      4. An extending non touch display like Mi Mix
      5. Flip out display? didn't see it in a phone though I think...
      6. Any other? Mention in comments.

I'm interested to see what solutions the public wants.
Personally speaking, I'm interested in Asus Zenfone's solution, even though I didn't like the weight the phone carries due to it probably, and would like to see the weight go down.

Syuser, 28 Apr 2021Xperia 5 II can get with some manual interventions (tested ... moreXperia is better suited for animal/sports photography where you take photos of the moving objects in succession so that you can pick out the best looking one afterwards. In terms of pure image quality, however, Mi 11 Ultra will reign supreme over Xperia in most area (Not to mention that Xiaomi might release another flagship later this year, which would then overlap with the international release date of Xperia 1/5 III).

On top of that, unlike Xperia, Xiaomi phones have a decent Gcam support, which is a nice addition if you take a lot of low light or landscape shots on your phone.

          Best phone at the market!

Rkm, 28 Apr 2021Think of it the other way. If you are buying a $1200 phone,... moreThere is a dongle in the box. It's a shame that consumers think lack of headphone jack = premium, but that's the way things are. You can thank Apple and Samsung for that.

And its not using IMX, but a Samsung Isocell GN2. It will crush 5ii in Auto, Manual & RAW due to it superior hardware in all focal length than 5ii.

Well, at least we know this phone will still be an amazing value next year, when it's half the price and still getting updates. People forget Xiaomi updates their flagships for over a year, which I wish I could say the same for Vivo and other Chinese brands.

Best Xiaomi flagship in a while. Ticks all the necessary boxes & impresses with it's hardware & camera. Bravo!

Why do all the camera reviews for this phone mostly talk about ZOOM at 5x. What are the results for Zoom at 2x, 3x, and 4x in both daylight and low light conditions for both image quality and Video quality.

Example: If I want to compare this with a 3x zoom of a Oneplus 9 pro

I purchased the Xiaomi mi note 10 pro last year. I like the Xiaomi M11 ultra , but I wonder if it's worth buying? There will always be a newer phone with updated technology every few months with the customers addiction or desire to have the latest phone. How many people use all the features of their phones? Is it a good investment for a few months being that the resealable value is not guaranteed? Technology companies know our desire for newer technologies and they continue to feed customers addictions and increase their bank balance.
A smartphone of 2018 is still very good in 2021 ,it might be a little sluggish, but it does the job. Which ever way we chose, the addiction to new phones is on the increase even though the novelty only last a week. Let's look forward to the next flagship phone

Andres, 28 Apr 2021People are still complaining about no headphone jack in 202... moreWhoever said it's a money decision not to buy wireless headphones or not? BT tech sucks. Drops out because of interference all the time.

Shui8, 28 Apr 2021Nah...Mi11 U image processing are way way superior, near to... moreYes, and if you compare it with the Iphone 12 pro, the difference on the gap would be too obvious on the S21 ultra. Im not sure what Samsung is trying to achieve with this series, but it seems that they are just trying to release it, just for the heck of it,. You could literally watch every youtube review /comparison and see the S21 ultra make a clown of itself, even a Mi 10T pro has few points over the S21 ultra, which is half of its price.

Andres, 28 Apr 2021People are still complaining about no headphone jack in 202... moreThat's not a fair comment, some people will only use a wired connection to speak on phones due personal/health reasons. Some others like for the FM radio

Xperia 5 II can get with some manual interventions (tested by me) same great camera quality (this MI have Sony's IMX) and regarding it's such big, heavy and expensive compared to latest Xperia (that it's like a feather) the Mi is quite obsolete in this regard. If Xperia does better with latest 1 and 5 III still being even cheaper (with all its alpha tech processing) than this Mi not to mention it's clean Android, Xperia still much superior (the only downside theoretically is the front cam, but as long as it has eye tracking stil Xperia can handle rear camera amazing selfies). Not an amazing bargain, not for any point and shoot. Xperia still much user-friendly (cheaper mostly)!
