Night Mode is a cancer. Not Mi11Ultra night mode but in general. Take a look at the samples here with night mode and with night mode off. That interior shelf in low light without night mode actually gives you the sense where the light is coming from, sure highlights are getting burned but it's no biggie. Same shot with night mode on you have no clue where main light source is coming from as everything is lifted, glows with the same intensity etc. Completely artificial reminiscent to how Photoshop beginner would approach the picture retouch.

Now lets take a look at the image with the church on the left hand side and building with spotlights on the right. With no night mode building on the right has intensity and church on the left is in distance underexposed cause it's night time. With night mode on that church glows like there is some flood light outside the shot hitting it right on the face and all the highlights from the building on the right have been killed and it looks like it's been lit up with some diffuse lighting and not spotlights.

People please stop using night modes for anything.

At this point even mid range phones can take satisfying pictures of landscape at bright daylight, that is not an issue anymore. There should be advanced scenes that go beyond foliage, high frequency graphics and skyline.

        mi 10 ultra base model (8/128 black) is now reduced to as low as 4200cny in places in China. And that is a very good alternative ro 11 ultra, if you can get it.

Cons are cons no matter how minor they are. Taking out TF card slot means you have no choice but to pay much more for extra space, even it is for photo storage. Most expensive bluetooth headphone on earth is still unable to eliminate the problem of audio signal delay. Making a phone is comprehensive consideration, between all the possible features, ending up is a reasonable size / weight. Saying words such as they are not cons makes me wonder about your motives.

                      like the scenes from low light, how about them in day light quality? more variations towards scenes are very much appreciated, rather than the same scenes over and over again.

                      i hope the gsma mods see this and tell every reviewer there to pick up more scenes for their photo quality tests

                        Oof Samsung is getting trounced.

                          [deleted post]Even if this was above 1 Lac, I'd buy it.
                          This is the only phone worth buying above Rs.100k.

                          IPhone 12 pro Max and Galaxy S21 Ultra (Exynos) are over-priced here in India.
                          Xiaomi ended up pricing it 70k which was totally unexpected.
                          No complaints from my side.
                          I just wished they launched the Marble white edition. I had my eyes on it.

                              Brilliant stuff from Xiaomi...Device was released a month ago and it performs brilliantly despite the fact that camera sensor is brand new,haven't been tested properly.I believe after first major update this Mi11 Ultra will be even better,especially battery life,plus some added functionality for that rear display...

                                I want to buy this beautiful piece of technology just to see what i can squeeze out of the cameras by using custom imaging apps.

                                  Previously was getting 8hr SOT with display at full HD+ resolution (personal preference).

                                  Xiaomi claims that MIUI 12.5 is designed to consume up to 32 percent less memory in system operations and provide a 17 percent decrease in power consumption.
                                  I can't verify the numbers but there is a definite difference in day to day use, that one can feel. Even on a flagship phone like MI 11 ultra...The experience is more slicker, snappier, intuitive. This Miui 12.5 update should do wonders on phones with less than 4-6gb RAM.

                                  Integration with Window's PC has improved. Bloatware out of the box has reduced to a minimum. Even Xiaomi's own apps can be easily removed.
                                  Privacy controls have been enhanced further by giving finer control in the hands of the users.
