BTW by high quality 3.5mm dac device, it seems you are comparing it with LG and Asus quad dac phones. If yes, they're obviously better.
My initial point was that if your laptop / phone has shitty audio, apple dongle is the easiest and most inexpensive way to get much better audio.

I had Huawei P40 Pro for a short time. It uses laser autofocus as well as this Mi 11 ultra and that tiny laser light is caught on phone's camera. Normal user would not notice it, but I have to check every pixel in video and I found red dots in close ups, daytime or evening indoor shots etc. It was not good for me. I'm afraid this phone might have same problem.

Both give terrible audio quality compared to actually high end 3.5mm jack with a quality DAC.

Only guys I see complaining about are people from USA where they won't have more than 1 band support for 5g.
