Please don't buy this phone. It's literally incapable of connecting to the internet. Not a good look for a smart phone. I've been driving around with full 4g coverage, but unable to operate Spotify, or even open a page in the browser. I've reset to factory settings, reset connectivity settings, everything. Full coverage, bit this piece of shit taiwanese plastic refuses to give me internet access. I can send, and recieve Whatsapp messages, and is Google maps.
Imagine my disappointment.

Interested, 16 Oct 2021Asus Zenfone 8 Flip users, how is the battery life in daily... moreI am using a zenfone 8 flip since August. I've had a few issues, but only because I was the one that changed the settings so much. The battery life is amazing now tbh. I used the phone the entire day once and it lasted for about 14 hours which I find amazing. But again... I played a lot in the settings and at some point the battery was lasting for roughly 5 hours. That happened to me about 2 times, so please just leave the battery and charging settings the way they are, it's better. If you really want to buy the phone I recommend you changing the case. The one they are giving you is not really protecting the camera and a friend of mine broke my camera about 2 weeks I got my phone. I repaired it a few days ago after 2 months with a broken camera, but he payed for everything at least. You can get a rhinoshield case. It's a bit more expensive, but it's what I'm using now and I don't think you can find anything better. I hope I helped you at least a bit, but if you have more questions I'm happy to help you

Asus Zenfone 8 Flip users, how is the battery life in daily use? Any display issues like black crush in previous Asus phones? I am thinking of getting one but is concerned about the battery life and display quality. Being offered a new Zenfone 8 Flip 8/256 for USD510, but I think better to ask existing users before deciding. Thanks in advance.

There should a variant with 6 gb ram and 128 gb storage with a lower price.

Greetings! In my country, the zenfone model is not very... popular. Actually, there are only 2 independent vendors that have 1 zenfone model each: one vendor has the normal zenfone 7 (NOT PRO) at $ 670, and the other has the new zenfone 8 flip, at $ 990 (yes, very expensive). My question is which phone to buy, the normal zenfone 7? or the zenfone 8 flip? are there any IMPORTANT differences about the new model? How much older can the SnpD 865 age over the SnpD 888? Help me please, just to decide on those 2 models (I cannot import the zenfone 7 PRO, due to the tedious customs control and the excessive cost of paying taxes).

mi 11 pro is good but it lacks quite a lot of features that the mi 10 pro used to have (2x telephoto, and a higher resolution outputting sensor)

If you don't care about flip mechanism for selfies and panorama shots. Then get Zenfone 8, Mi 11 or S21 for the same price instead. They will give you an better screen, cameras, charging for your money. Zenfone 8 flip is disappointing if you are using the zenfone 7 pro as a measurement.

I waited to buy it, but without OIS, it's not good enough. People buy it because of the camera. 7 Pro is fast enough, so the little change of the CPU doesn't count. Zenfone 8 Flip Pro version should be something like the Zenfone 8, but with the flip camera (and with OIS + 3.5mm jack).
