Bought zenfone 7 pro over galaxy (I own every single galaxy 1 - 10) because of physical fingerprint sensor. Under display scanner is major failure.. and now this... lol
All they had to do was release phone with better speakers, but they decided to downgrade with scanner. First and last Asus phone (really good phone btw) Zenfone 7pro.

Please make a pro version of this flip version. I need headphone jack and preferably 130hz and even bigger battery. There is 128 9gb or 256gb storage so micro sd can be removed (just an option, but prefer you keep it of course)

The motorized mechanism does the job of stabilizing.
You'd know if you used one.

I would buy only if it had what other model has: 120hz and audio jack. But taking those out and OIS and a mediocre camera is not worth it

I have never seen this type before
My fear is how long will the flex holding the camera works? Because I remember that phone with the flip eventually develop flex problem

Even night mode are a bit blurry. As far as i know, all phones without OIS have bad soft and blurrt night shots, sometimes only slightly. When you pay premium, you need to put something exceptional too. Mate 40 Pro is an exception as the enormous sensor and RYYB as well as Huawei processing makes up for the Lack of OIS, but not with the small 64 Mp zenfone 8 flip sensor.

Even phones with OIS struggle to do this.

Also really dissapointed GSMArena. If you had any obectivity, you should be crying in CAPS "No OIS - don't buy if the camera experience is even remotely important to you".

Since the 8 Flip is nothing more than a Zenfone 7 with an SD 888 chipset, I wonder if there would be a Pro version of the 8 Flip based on the Zenfone 7 Pro.

The phone was nice and asus camera are always giving accurate and onpiont colors as much as the price wont change, still the number one value king of all phones out there.

You would think if you're only going to keep making the flip and only have one version you would add OIS. The whole gimmick is full uninterrupted screen and good cameras / excellent selfie camera. So let's basically refresh the phone from last year, make it look a bit more boring (not a big deal just an observation), remove OIS, and raise price. Like others have said I hope they make a Flip Pro, but I think this is the last flip we will see unfortunately. Truly a shame phone makers don't really care about what people want
