but not only my 7 xperias...
oldest that is still working (though signs of aging is everywhere) is the nokia n70... but that has removable battery... same with my lg g4, already replace the user replaceable battery, because... why not? ha!
also have nokia 909 and nokia n8, though the other n8 has burn ins, i mean the entire display... i think it is normal, even the galaxy note 9 has it...
then htc windows phone 8x... those are collections, but since google is trying its best to put older phones obsolete, i just replaced my personal phone, from z1 compact to xz2 compact... also replaced my work phone, from z5 premium to 1 ii, since the apps i need for work does not run on my z5 premium already...
so, ye, i keep my phones, even use it as personal or work phone, as long as it works...

And I don't even talk about all the waste you generate with your totally egocentric way of life. Buying cheap to replace more often is just why we are so ****ed.
In fact, a lot of people keep their phone more than 2 years. Just beside me there are still 2 iPhone 5S because you know, phones are just phones.
on the other, being able to keep a phone more than 12 years mean the phone keeps its value, it's more like a best selling point than a shamable thing.

I'm not saying it's TOTALLY worth it but they are things to think about.

Why are people so impressed about battery life?! It has OLED, just 6" with 60Hz, a very slow chipset and 4500mAh.
Show me a phone with these specs that is not very close!

blue.sun, 07 Jun 2021Why spending twice the sum of money, when the power and usa... morePower, maybe not but to have 120Hz refresh rate, front-firing stereo speakers, 2GB more RAM, MUCH better cameras (especially with that dual periscope), and more of the Sony software cues such as Stamina mode and Cinema Pro could be tempting reasons.
