It boggles my mind how a device like this does not have any biometric identification. That was one of the biggest reason why I ditched my Tab S6 Lite. You just can't get used to a device with no easy authentication nowadays, even phones with 100 dollar price ranges has fingerprint readers. I won't ask for an in display one, but a fingerprint reader on the lock button would have made this device so much better.

There are already some apps which will work only on harmonyos and Huawei will publish a list of native harmony apps. These apps are much smaller in size.

Hemedans, 10 Jun 2021tab s7 did come with clip art studio exclusive for them the... moreyou r ri8 clipart studio is indeed a good software for windows graphic tablet , but for android and ios i think u should use it personally its carp in both ios and android, and i hardly sw anyone use it on portable device like android tab and ios tab and its not highly regarded software in android and ios realm crapy interface.kirita, illustrator, adobe photoshop touch u cant compare it with higly refined aaps in ios market, adroid tablet dev left andorid market as soon as it launched, no attention given to this aaps to grow none, and about that video editing soft its power direct and adobe rush its not really optimized for ios and cant even comapre it with proper video editing aap like lumafusion on ios , this aaps cant even handle RAW formats from DSLR, even saome how u can manage to use it videos looks weard , fringing some time some time weard color dance like stuff this software on android never got attention from devs. and out of all the aaps u mentioned above none of the aaps are refined and at a level to stand against ios aaps. i ll suggest u to persnlyy use it , i m from media industry use windows for my work but for on the go there is no ios replacement ri8 knw

Which at the moment are not present in either IOS or Android.
Let's see if IOS or Fushcia are going to copy that....

Will not touch Huawei even with a barge pole with thier approach on privacy & data sharing. Hold the same opinion on other Chinese mobile manufacturers, if they go the same way. Thankfully, I am not alone in my opinion on this. Anything Chinese that can impact privacy and data sharing, total distrust.

To pay 800 dollars to have full screen size ads but none of all the cool apps you can get even on the much cheaper entry level iPad. And will it get 7 years of OS update as my iPad Air 2 get?

The only proper HarmonyOS that is based on a microkernel are the ones on their new smartwatches. The HarmonyOS on their phones is EMUI with additional features under a different name which is a fork off Android. Not sure if it will ever be microkernel based or a new operating system like fuchsia.

I see double standard bigotry here and I'm not going to accept it.
Reports say Google Fuchsia can run Android apps natively. Yet everyone is saying it is a new OS.
But people refuse to regard HarmonyOS as an OS and downplay it as if it was just an Android fork just because HarmonyOS can run Android apps.

satyajeet, 10 Jun 2021so, all android has an good file management thats all. kine... moretab s7 did come with clip art studio exclusive for them then it will come to other android tablets later, you can see youtube for reviews against ipads, it highly regarded software, there are kirita, illustrator, adobe photoshop touch (though they discontinue it but its very powerfull like pc version if you can sideload it), adobe rush, sketchbook, autocad etc.
as someone below said, ipad and iphones are paper champions great in benchmarks but lost in real world perfomance.
