Camera hardware looks top notch (main and tele, ultrawide not so much).
However, it seems their software is lacking. If this manufacturer enables bootloader unlock, the vanilla camera software available for custom ROMs could make better use of the monster hardware. Tecno is managing the opposite of google pixels. Pixels had mediocre cameras, however the software (math) on top of that was able to render high level pictures. Tecmo is employing the 50MP cam with humongous pixels, and somehow managing to get a bad dynamic range or color rendition.

I have a problem with the Phantom and irritating. Without touching the screen at all, the phone starts opening apps by itself without anyone touching it. It is worse when typing! The phone is not stable at all, it keeps typing itself without touching it! I first thought about screen sensitivity and deactivated any intelligent screen stuff but ther problem has persisted. U can even record a whatsapp audio coz it cant keep the hold!

Mine is up for sale. Rubbish camera. Can't even post my pictures on IG n the price is extremely high. Nonsense

If its dollar, definitely not. If tou are talking about rupees, then also not; because the s21 and note 21 coat far less than even half of that. And you know, Samsung has a reputation of building quality smartphones, so no matter the cost, most people will prefer a Samsung phone over a similarly-specd device from other companies, even of its cheaper.

Please can someone who owns this phone as per today tell me about overheating because my last tecno phone to hold was W4 but it really had an issue of overheating I'm aware that atleast every phone has to heat up normally after long hours of either gaming or internet but for my tecno w4 it used to be abnormal so i really wanted to know before i do invest my ka- 1,700,000/= into this phone.

Amazing UI its not that heavy and it is very close to samsung OneUI or maybe the Stock Android but one thing you need to consider is the price and the chipset, by that price you can find other device that can offer great specs not by paper but on real world and as reviewer said the lacking of camera capabilities and performance is not worth for its price

The first day I bought this I feel like Samsung make it not tecno, it’s looks pretty, it’s work smoothly, Camera quality is good and it looks premier. The phantom x deserve the price. I bought it Ghc2800 in Ghana
