Hes got his lux sensor, with its own calibrations, has been reading out lux and converting to nits, on numerous devices, including 21Ultra,OP9Pro etc, and has a constant ratio of nit measures between them.

So if his lux sensor says it brighter than 21Ultra outdoors, that means his same lux sensor measured for ex 21Ultra less lux than on Xperia, thus less nits, any equation you wish to apply for convertion.
But yours is wrong. "One does not simply divide lux with Pi and get Nit."

    Multiple revs affirmed it already.
    Only here the claim is different.
    I trust my eyes and common sense. If that guy did the onscreen 120hz test, and confirmed the res within the test with a screenshot that reads 4k res, it IS doing 120hz at 4k res. How simple and logical can it get?

      You dont like how these options are balanced between Sonys apps? No biggie, buy other brand phone that does it within its basic cam app.
      There are exactly 99% of other tech OEMs doing what you want, exactly the same way.

          This isn't the first review to find significant problems with the phone. It's a shame that a phone with so much potential arrives late and still isn't working correctly. Maybe Sony can fix some problems in software but I'm not betting my money on it with an advance purchase.

            Oh Sony...

            That battery life is pathetic. You used to be king when it came to high-end phones for battery. It is also telling of the SD888. Nothing with that chip has had good endurance without having huge, nearly 5000mAh batteries or higher. Camera seems alright, but they need to make use of computational photography like anyone else.

            Their reluctance to use modern tech makes all those animes with japanese tech and operators prevailing over others look really silly.

I want to support Sony but they are making it hard indeed. For now I'm going to sstick with phones at 500€ max like my current daily-driver (Asus Zenfone 6). If I'm going to have to deal with compromises I might as well pay a fairer price for them.
