Honestly I don't understand what's great about the oxygen os. It's way too overrated. The miui, emui and one ui are better.

Hemedans, 22 Jul 2021sd 865 is efficient compare to sd 888, not just oneplus all... moreWhile I can't dispute that the snap 865 is significantly easier to build around than the 888, oneplus is unique in that they advertise having the proper cooling solutions but fail to deliver in performance. The oneplus 9/9 pro are 60% stability phones, on par with the S21 series which don't have vapor chambers in them. Xiaomi phones such as the mi 11 series or the k40 pro are typically around 80% stable. The oneplus 7 and 8 series made gaming phones unnecessary as they were just as fast and stable, but this year's gaming phones are way more stable than the 9 series. I'm just disappointed that a supposed enthusiast's brand is underperforming badly.

In my opinion, this seems a very well balanced phone, if not for a lot of good options out there, especially Xiaomi and its sister companies. I guess they should stick to the maximum price of 350 euro. They should taken in account that Xiaomi has better reach and logistic compared last year. Which I think was the only advantage they have , (oxygen OS was not as buttery as it supposed to be, which is sad)

BS verdict... How come the display can be praised for brightness if it's way darker than even old Nord!? And it's a shame to list cameras as a Pro, with overprocessing at day and being simply unusable at night.
Don't get me started on the "flagship killer"...

this phone is a "OnePlus 9 Lite Edition"....not too much to offer in the $400 USD - $500 USD...After the fiasco with OnePlus 9 series...regain trust will be very difficult to OnepPlus....

Each phone have their advantages, it will depend on personal preference... Some people will also prefer MIUI+IR blaster vs Oxygen OS+Alert slider.

everyone is slowly leaving ips lcd displays, even on flagships, they're non existent in this day.
accept the new reality on the smartphone market, everyone loves oled.

Standby time was very low.
8 and 8T did better.
Also other phones with 865 + Full HD.

No SD card slot. What is this new devilry that manufacturers are increasingly pulling? We want proper SD card support and not one of those crappy hybrid dual SIM slots either.

Compared to new phones, yes it is good at €399.
But the moment I compared it to older phones that changes, at least in my country many phones like the Poco F2 Pro (€289), LG G8S (€269) or even a more pricey options like Pixel 4 (€405) and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro (€409) sound all like much more better picks to me.
Older 2019/2020 phones are still good enough for most people, and drit cheap too quite often.

Deal-breaker for me but other than that respectable camera, battery life and performance all in balance nothing excessive just what I need and at the right price
But that OLED screen man smh

Do your research and update yourself
Mediatek has taken away market from Qualcomm
The only thing Qualcomm is hanging on to is flagship soc everything else Qualcomm offers is a joke
