I did my additional optimisations for that tho, but it doesnt change the hz count as the only differential.

I see absolutely nothing special in 120 hz, to sacrifice for 3 hr more of my batterylife. 60 hz is fluid enough for me, and doesnt affect my user experience quality at all.

        Gsmarena battery tests and other things confirm how HRR doesn't consume much. Independent test done by YouTubers have confirmed how 60hz hardly adds 30min-1hr SOT. We trust them over Sony brand boy like you who is notorious for lying all the time.

Any other processing enhancements, like HDR for ex, seem to be dependant on optics only, per your wonderful logics.
          So, You are making things up here.
          And you should claim Sony uses it only for that, as you seem straightminded on only what you find written, without a shadow of thought beyond.

Again, Sony doesn't state anywhere on their website that the camera app applies blurs to an image in real time outside of portrait mode, nor Bionz X is used for this purpose.

                        Of course not. You still haven't answered my previous questions yet, and right now you're actively spreading potential misinformation (or I could call it a pure lie, since you seem to have given up proving your claim completely) in defence of the company you personally adore. That's just toxic and you're not helping anyone including Sony.

                        You don't even know much about Xperia despite claiming to be its user, so what makes you think you can preach at other people about how stuffs work on it? Just drop it already, yeah?

                          3hr difference between 60Hz and 120Hz is down right nonsense.

                          I'm using my 5ii at 120Hz all the time now and I don't even recognize the different in battery compared to the time I used it at 60Hz.

                          The impact on battery is dismissal, but the smoothness is unbeatable. I can't even go back to 60Hz now because of that smoothness.

                            I need to replace my preferred but not so much loved my two xperia xz2 compacts, the one dual sim bottom microphone damaged from hands senitizer and second single sim battery drawing faster by now, no service for me to repair in South Africa, the first one the registered Sony workshop returned for non repairable phone BOLSHIT RUBBISH SERVICE . I love compacts but there is none and I decided to go for the 5 III, my opinion from specs and reading only Sony using on such expensive phone screens from Samsung low nit brightness of only 500 nits were the iPhone 12s using the Sharp much better 1000 nits screen and faster, secondly if could have this phone with two millimeter less wider to be close to the 65mm of my Sony compacts 65mm, lastly I love my xz2 compact plastic body which looks as new after three years usage, with cover of course but never broke or damaged from Falling to the floor. I believe the plastic body just as the 1 PRO beat body is much better for the reception antennas and serial

                                3hr more SOT by switching to 60hz??? Sure buddy!! Maximum screen on time one gains by switching to 60hz is 30 minutes. Most manufacturers automatically switch to 60hz in apps like video player. Now it's confirmed now that you are stuck on 60hz display and you have zero experience with high refresh rate phones.
