Iphone user here. Fold was never an option, until i got hold of the demo unit one day. In a blink of an eye, unconsciously signing a pre order form. I got it for $1100, once u unfold you can never fold. Best decision since vaccination.

It's mainly the price that I don't like. It's way too expensive and I think the under display cam is experimental at best. I don't want to pay that amount of money to become Samsungs guinea pig:)

Alot best thing that I never experienced on the standard candy bar phone. Camera during day time, can't tell the difference, not as good during night.

Used the money for prebooking the Fold 3. I never thought i would miss the Fold experience as much as i have - for almost 3 week of wait i had to rely on my other slab phone and it just felt so different.

If the price was 700 dollars then maybe but for the current price it's not worth it at all - way too many compromises.

Of course make it an unnoticeable amount snake and reduce battery size. Just keep it a little larger with a battery bump. Whether it's tiny or up to two 3,000mah packs and a little larger display.
It should also have 4 speakers. 2 for a device of this size and only as good as others doesn't cut it.
4 speakers and a headphone jack and I might actually be sold.

How is it underspec??? iPhone vs Fold 3 tests have shown the fold 3 to be similar or better than the iPhone 12 pro in the camera department even with blind tests of the brand. The phone can actually fold and they created a specific UI adjustments for it over Google's OS. 25W charging compared to apples 20. Takes my iPhone close to 2 hrs to barely get 85%. Under display camera that can be used for face unlock while other foldables just deleted the camera. Reverse wireless charging, and it comes with over $3-500 of free gifts in Samsung members and they included $200 of accessories plus insurance is free for 1 year. The biggest thing anyone can complain about is the charger not in the box but you get $200 the charger is $19. If you stack the list by the only other main competition of iPhone this phone blows it out of the water for the incentives, trade in value and working with 3rd party vendors

Even the watch can only charge with it's dedicated magnetic charger. Meanwhile Samsung any charger works or just use the back of your phone... Airpods buy the case or pay extra for wireless charging 🤷🏽♂️

U can't win everything all at once. Apple took almost 5-6 yrs to introduce wireless charging. You can only charge an Apple watch with an Apple charger. Samsung is far past many companies. Sounds like a thread of people who don't actually own the product just talking about it.

For the amount you pay for this phone, it is pretty ridiculous that you get basically NOTHING with it. The ecological impact excuse is a sham at most! I've steer clear of Apply product due to the non universal chargers and how they make money off of it. I think Samsung's ecological excuse is just that! A poor excuse to make extra money off of the consumers. Its a poorly planned move as how do they expect to expand their market share to non Samsung users? How are people to charge their new VERY high ticketed (nearly $2K) phone with no charger? Their business development team needs and redo. I pre-ordered my Z fold 3 and although the specs are better than the 2. Just due to the sheer non-sense of this and not to mention even a earbud or what not. I am finally considering the move to Apple since Samsung now wants to go and use the same marketing tactics and leech the consumer with whatever they can.

Finally got my hands on the Z3 fold. Better than the Z2. But far from great.
The spen is a nice addition.
Battey life and gap still not good.
Size... To be successful it must have the same front screen as the note 21 ultra and double of that when opened. Then this will become a device to reckon with providing they get robustness, battery life in place.
May be galaxy z5 ultra it will be.
