I need to know which phone is better, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G or the Galaxy A52?
Current pricing of the Xiaomi is $294 and that of the Samsung is $334.
Main priority : Display and camera.

It could be that the Mi 11 Lite 5G will be the only phone released with Snapdragon 780G.
Up to 27% better graphics performance compared to 778G isn't neglible, so I'm happy with my purchase although the power efficiency is worse.

It's a lot cheaper in Malaysia ($310) so i guess it's a good deal since gt master is ($330) here in Malaysia. Also 778g is energy efficient compare to the 780g since the 780g is consuming a lot more power than the 778g. The camera it self is good enough and the light weight design definitely fill my heart. Yeah it's great at least in Malaysia.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2021Lol what "losses" 😂 ? They're a billion dol... moreU do realize. The chip shortage does taffect them in profit. But it does infact make too low phones and not enough to meet the demand as mi 11 lite is still solid to date. And there is no point in struggling to keep the demands up and getting 0 profit no point other than releasing new phoen and like a chip which maybe has a 7.5% worse gpu and 5% worse cpu.

This phone beats the Poco F3 for me after seeing these camera shots and the fact that the relatively small battery is super efficient. Chip isn't too bad, it's right where you expect it to be (higher mid range). It also looks amazing, is ultra thin and light. And with that RAM upgrade, this is the best phone in this price range.

If I was buying again today I'd still take the mint green 780g at £329 and have the better graphics performance over the 7hrs extra call time.
It still would have been good to test it with the same MIUI to rule out the OS improvements

This 6nm vers... moreNope, this 11 Lite 5G NE has better battery because Snapdragon 778G is made by TSMC , Snapdragon 780G is made by Samsung on 5nm (5LPE) that is same process as Snapdragon 888 and that Snapdragon 888 has much worse battery life than 7nm TSMC Snapdragon 870.
In conclusion Snapdragon cpus made by 5nm Samsung = bad battery life, overheating. Snapdragon made by TSMC = slightly worse performance, better battery life, no overheating.

I'm putting the battery test here down to MIUI.
It's literally just the transistor size that's different between them, same core, frequency, cache, TDP, memory, bus, bandwidth and connectivity..
GSM should retest the original with the same MIUI version to compare and see if it's the same (or poss better)

My Mi 11 Lite 5G has very decent battery on 12.5.3

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2021It's definitely that. Even TSMC 7nm was more efficient... moreI can confirm that. The battery life for mi 11 lite 5g was disappointing from the beginning. And it has to do 100% with the chipset.
