Didn't you test the display in terms of brightness etc? The 780g version was shipped with two different displays so it would be nice to know how good the display on the 778g version is.

        I think this increase in battery life is due to a more efficient processor. I have Mi 11 Lite 5G with MIUI 12.5.5.0 and battery life is worse than MIUI 12.0.

            That's some incredible battery life out of a 4250mah battery. This is higher than some 5000+mah of Xiaomi's own phones.

                  the A52s is using similar EIS, not OIS. get your facts straight. Also, the A52s is so thick and heavy, it's uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. last time, the A52s is also only having a 25W charging capability, compared to the 33W fast charge on the xiaomi. Overall, the Samsung midranger A52s is actually horribly spec, and at a much more expensive price.

                    I'm glad I bought pixel 4a, don't think there will be a compact for few years from any company except Apple.

                        I prefer compact design than thin body. up to 8 or 8.5 mm of thickness is ok. so we can get one handed use of the phone and still provide space for reasonable batery size. come on Xiaomi, not everybody is a gamer. I prefer 6.2 - 6.4 inch of screen so it could be a compact and perfectly handled by one hand.

                                    It's a shame Xiaomi, Realme or Samsung can't release a upper midrange phone that is compact. Like 5.7". Everyone wants to be apple but they dont copy their size and thats a shame.

                                        Definitely Galaxy A52s 5G much2 better than this china cheap oem. A52s get OIS for main camera, IP67 rating, 120Hz refresh rate and most important u get the best android skin one ui plus long software support.
