Since the tensor chipset is made by samsung, which means samsung has access to these kinds of AI and ISP. So maybe the next Exynos will have significantly improved ISP, AI, GPU with AMD

Now that I look closer at the pictures, my 2 year old LG does a better job than Pixel.
Main reasons to get a Pixel were the updates and cameras, the cameras are now mediocre so that falls off, and the updates are actually pathetic (3 years of OS is not a Google exclusive thing anymore, and 2 years of security above that doesn't save this enough)
My Pixel 6 has yet to come in, but I forsee a even more poor battery live so I guess that one will go back.

It's fast, big with clean Android. Just too bad it's not available at the moment because I think because of that Google will lose prenatal owners.

captain fokou, 03 Nov 2021Why the best smartphones on the world are so hard to get? P... moreThat's why you get the best VALUE phones, not the bleeding edge best; like the S21, Pixel 6, iPhone 13, Oneplus Nord 2, Motorola Edge 20, Mi 11 Lite 5G, great all rounders but cheap and available.
Yes, Kirin 9000 is the goat. The best are always the hardest to get.

Living in UK, I was fortunate enough to preorder the pixel 6 pro (128gb), tempted also with the included bundle offer (bose 700 headphones for free), so I received the phone on 28 October. Now coming from mi 11 ( not ultra or pro, just the regular one) I can confirm the following:
Pros:
-Sofware is superior to any android I've ever had, smooth af, clean as it supposed to be, feature rich( my fitrst experience with a pixel) takes no time to get used with andoid 12, no issues at all on this aspect you definitely will fall in love with pure android.
-Cameras are a solid 9/10, although I dont like the sterile google proccesing, I prefer mi11s one ( my all time favourite is Huawei proccesing algorithms and colour rendition but thats just me) anyway I can't fault it in any aspect, up there with the top dogs, including video. Plus I am absolutely sure it will improve in time with updates.
- Build quality is top noch at first glance, probaby need more time to have a definitive opinion on this.
-Speakers are more than decent, a bit on the base side, stereo separation is not well balalnced you got more like 40% top and 60% bottom one but is loud enouh and clear.
-Battery life was so so in the first day but then it improved substantially so no issues there, on average 6-7 sot (4-5 on mi11)
Cons:
-one of the main reasons I've decided not to keep it is the 30w charging, I know is irelevant for some but for my life style is a bit too slow. I coud live with it tho if ...
- the screen is much dimer and bland when it comes to colour vibrancy compared directly with xiaomi mi 11( 500 nits vs 800 if I'm not wrong), dont get me wrong it's nothing wrong with the screen, its perfectly fine but you dont have that option in the display settings to boost the colours. Actually there is one but it does absolutely nothing when selected.
So yeah I supose depends where are you coming from. In my case I wasnt impressed thats why I decided to keep the mi 11 and send the pixel back. I mean when you pay £850 for an item you expet it to be better in most aspects compared with mi11 wich cost me £400 ( second hand but in mint condition). Also 128gb I dont think is enough this days for a power user, especially when there's no expandable slot, my mi 11 is 256gb and is just right.
Do I see myself having a pixel 6 pro in the future? Definitely yes! When the 256gb one hits the stores probably I'll get one even if I have to live with some compromises like slow charging ( not the slowest but for me is slow compared with mi11 55w 20%-100% in less than 30 minutes) and a mediocre screen. Having the pixel 6 pro for 3 days only it was enough for me to fall in love with the software experience and made me realise why iOS is so popular.
My advice: if you already own a flagship like mi11 ultra or s21 ultra don't bother, you will be annoyed by the lower display quality slow charging speed, but if you can live with all that then yes is well worh.

The review is a bit inaccurate when comparing the Pixel to the iPhone 13 Max. Apple offers 5-6 years of full software updates, while Google has promised only 3 years of full software updates and 2 additional years of only security updates.
Currently, the cameras on the iPhone 13 Max perform better by most accounts, except that the Pixel 6 Pro does better digital zoom.

Straight to the battery test and yep, another pathetic battery on a shitty Pixel phone stuffed with geeky Google apps. I don't know why they bother.
