I will make it short.

Title: *iOS is better than Android*

Content : (Seven chapters of reasons why iphone is not better than Android)

Conclusion : *Admit that iOS is not better, but at least different from Android*

Writer maybe should also try to make article with title "I use Gucci sneaker to play soccer/football after years of use Nike/Adidas shoes"

I prefer Android because it allows for a more "semiautomatic" control of the phone out-of-the-box in many ways. I've always heard that iPhones are too automatic - that's why ignorant users prefer them.

7UIS, 03 Jan 2022I also agree Most people simply buy an iPhone just to show what they aren't. Others buy an iPhone just because they need all those "automatic" things just because they are n00b users. 🙄

Sigh , 02 Jan 2022"the iPhone inspires an elitist feeling of superiority... moreI also agree

I do enjoy the screen recorder on my iPhone SE 1. That's about it. I don't need Apple Pay since I also have Google Pay and Samsung Pay on my other phones. I tend to use Google Pay as Samsung Pay wasn't accepted at Dollar Tree. I do like iMessages but it's not a necessity. I don't use any of Apple's services like Apple Music, Apple TV, and iCloud. I rarely used FaceTime.

Good luck to the guy sticking to iPhone. It will get annoying after awhile. Then you'll be back on Android. The longtime iPhone user who switched to Android will go back to iOS. If you use a platform long enough, that's usually what you stick with. I tried using both at the same time. I always end up dropping iOS for being so backwards-thinking.

Neither platforms are flawless. Android to me is still Google's spyware. But I do need their services like Gmail, GMaps, Google Photos, and YouTube since my mobile ecosystem is built around Google's.

Really thank you so much for doing this... i hope there's similar content about different brands of Android since they have their own overlay, once again thank you so much

                    Hi George,

The numbers are visible all the time on the top row of letters. Just press the relevant key and drag down.

And to select a letter in a given word, press and hold the word. A magnifier will appear. Drag left or right to select the character you want.

                    Pete

My 5 main reasons I'll stick to Android
                      - I love Nova Launcher
                      - Emulation
                      - Torrents
                      - Ability to sideload apps
                      - Android doesn't require the last 2-3 updates to run apps

I HATE it when I needed iOS13 just to run Dasher. That version wasn't even 2-years-old yet last year and iOS forced me to update which then ruined my battery life.

I don't see myself ever going back to iPhone and I started off with them first nearly 14 years ago on the 2G. I gave it a chance and never again.

I tried doing what this editor did last year. I tried going back to iOS after a decade and tried using an iPhone SE and then 12 mini as my daily driver. Not for me. Went back using Android after 6 months.

It uses Lightning when I prefer USB-C so I don't need to carry two cords. My car also has this power inverter and I plug my USB-C for it since it charges my power bank the fastest. I can only charge my iPhone from the power bank and not from my car.

the day Apple put type-C and maybe touch ID in their ohone, maybe I'll switch to it.

Oh my god, THANK YOU for pointing out all the million minor annoyances of iOS. Honestly, it's almost making me switch back to Android. As an UX and UI developer, it bothers me so much that some of the "features" of iOS are designed purely for the sake of not being like in Android, and not giving us more customization options...

Orthopod, 02 Jan 2022Well Strongly agree to the line that i hate iOS with pass... moreI have this in my Redmi 9t and Xiaomi 11t. This article has lots of errors. In the article he says about not being able to one click on brightness or in YouTube slider in iPhone and he said on Android he could do it. In my two phones I wrote up here I can't do it either. So my android phones are iPhone-ish? Lol. Every phone in android has some difference in UI that's why this article is misleading.

On Samsung (and I guess other androids), screenshots can also be deleted from the notifications without saving in the gallery too.

And did anyone else notice how he forgot to mention very major UI features like multiwindow (+ floating apps) and themes?

ME, 02 Jan 2022Android users will never go "back" to iOS ... do ... moreThis is true
My experience with Android is quite simple
                                    I got a huawei gr 3
Then the past year a galaxy a31
                                    And they are great
I didn't replace that huawei willingly.
                                    It was just lost

It's true that android has more cores and my Android has also 8core but it's software problems if you don't buy flagship category android then no update for you and it's software is laggy as it's company need to get update from Google its takes month and I only get security update no bugs fix update really frustrating I could get a iphone 8plus for or iphone x or other model for regular update and less bugs and many years update no need to switch after 3year you know I got a Nokia 5.1 a midrange phone disadvantage of android is if it's already past it update of 2year new Android version update like my phone release form 2018 now is 2022 no new update no nothing if I use iphone I still get 5or 7 year no need to change to to get stable software and still if iphone 8 no get new update iOS 12 and more version still supported by lots app you know even flagship android phone get only 3year of Android update
